6 Overthinking

It's been 2 days since I met Nine. Although he can't bring Amelia back to life for me, he still tries his best to make me laugh and smile. Even if he makes my days brighter then what they should have been, I could never forget my sister. No matter how much I appreciate Nine's company, the love that I have for him is not deep enough, for me to blindly trust him yet.

When we came back to the castle, that night Nine told me he was going to come to visit. me 2 days from then, which is today.

2Days Later

Right now I am currently having lunch with my family. As we eat it is still silent, no one says a word until an aristocrat arrives at the castle to discuss the affairs of the country with my father. I am currently too young to understand what those affairs are about, and even if I understood I doubt my ideas would even be considered since no one would bother listening to a kid.

As I see my father leave the room with a few guards to greet the aristocrat, my mother goes back to her room. She doesn't seem quite well today, and honestly she hasn't been well ever since Amelia left us. No one here has, but we just have to deal with it. It has only been 2 days since her death, but time doesn't wait until our heart is healed to resume. So once my mom the Queen gets better, she will have a lot of work to complete.

Finally I leave the lunch table last, I decided to go to the garden and sleep there in the grass, then suddenly Nine pops his head up. I look at him from the ground as he smiles."I see the lady doesn't like her bed much"-he says as he laughs. "Nine!" I say, surprised by his sudden appearance. "Where have you been? I've been looking for you all morning in the secret garden. Then I left for lunch with my family." "Well, I said, I would come today but I never specified the time." "True, but...Hmmm... Next time please try to give me a hint on the time so that I won't have to wait""I see the Miss is quite impatient!" "Nine! "-I hit him a little. "Hey, this is abuse. My lady I could fill a report against you." "I dare you too"- I say as I laugh.

For some reason, I never noticed it the first time I met him. But now I realize that I feel like Nine has something he is hiding. I mean I could be wrong, but something is off about him.Or maybe he really is hiding something which I couldn't grasp the last time we met. Maybe I was too confuse to realize it. Any ways I hope that I am wrong, because I think I like him, and I don't want my friendship and feelings to be part of a lie. I just hope that I am wrong, and that there is nothing wrong with him. I probably am just over thinking it too much.
