Renard Quinn was already unhappy with John Quinn and became even more irritated when he heard John trying to mediate the situation.
"John, our conversation doesn't seem to need your input," Renard said coldly, making John shut his mouth quickly while nervously looking at Xavier Quinn.
Xavier frowned and said to Renard, "You don't need to show off in front of John. If there is something to say, just say it here. John is not an outsider."
Renard didn't get angry and replied, "That's right. John isn't an outsider, I am."
Xavier glared at Renard and spoke with some authority as a father. "If you don't want to talk, then don't. There's no need for nonsense."
John had no choice but to watch, knowing that a verbal dispute between the father and son was inevitable.
John moved another reclining chair over and said to Renard, "Young Master, you shouldn't stand either. Why don't you sit and rest like the old man?"
John was indeed considerate.
