Chapter 48 - Free Meal

Everyone we're taken aback by the bluntness of Tsuyu about their unusual relationship status.

They weren't hiding it considering eventually everyone would find out. However, Tsuyu appears to be someone who speaks her mind without a filter.

"Yeah! Tell us!? Like dates and stuff!?"

Mina excitedly said. 

"Well I met with Izuku when we were still 5 at a local dojo."

Itsuka recalled the time when Izuku along with her mother joined in for a dojo which took them longer to find as most places did not accept quirkless people. 

It was disheartening that society would view other people as inferior creatures. Nevertheless, Itsuka became fast friends with Izuku showing his heroic heart and unyielding will. 

"Childhood friend, that's so romantic but thank God you too end up together! I've read a lot of manga and the childhood friend always gets dumped by the main character."

Tour exclaimed.

"Argh, that's what I hate with romance manga like why abandon your childhood friend!"

Ochako cried out seemingly traumatic upon reading a particular manga.

"How could I abandon Itsu-chan? She's the one who helped me grow into the person who I am!?"

Izuku exclaimed, trying to convey how he would never abandon those that loved him and vice versa. His words made those girls blush. Tsuyu lightly giggled while Itsuka covered her face in embarrassment.

"Gaaaah...H-How can y-you say so casually!?"

Itsuka stuttered, having her heart exploding in emotion.

"I only speak what is in my heart though."

Izuku quickly said that it only made his impression on girls grow further than before.

"*whistle* smooth~ midori, real smooth~ now I know why you have harem."

Mina teasingly said while Izuku slightly blush.

"That's sweet of you to say, Midoriya-chan. I wish I had someone like you but my quirk looks unpleasant to people and my croaks, people would find them odd."

Tsuyu said with a sad tone. 

"Why? To be honest, Asui-san, your little ribbits are pretty cute to me and just another interesting aspect of who you are."

Everyone blinked for a moment while Tsuyu blushed at his words. His girlfriend inwardly sighed knowing that he didn't intentionally flirt with her and only showed genuine compliments.

"Kero, thank you and please call my Tsu as I would like all my friends to do so."

Tsuyu said smiling.

"No problem, A-Tsu."

Izuku was about to call her by her last name but saw her start to frown and immediately correct himself. 

Tsuyu's frown changes to a bright smile much to the other girls that have a crush on him while his girlfriends are a bit troubled at the number of girls starting to get attracted to him. After a while they change their topic.

"Well my parents are at another place far away from U.A which is why I'm staying at an apartment for the time being."

"What!? Won't that be dangerous?"

Izuku exclaimed, surprising Ochako.  

"I agree with Izu here. How about moving in with me and melissa? It would be wonderful to have another friend living with me."

Momo said getting the mochi girl's attention.

"Uhmm...I-I don't know. Are you sure you wouldn't mind?"

Ochako was embarrassed to live with another person at home but she didn't want to burden her parents too much. She was tempted to accept the offer as Momo had been nice to her.

"Of course! My villa is big enough for a dozen of us to live in together." 

Momo exclaimed.

"I'll consider it thank you, Yaoyorozu-san."

"Please just call momo or Yaomomo."

Izuku smiled at the two turning fast friends. Afterward, they continued their conversation, sharing the time they met Izuku. Every story only increases their curiosity and attraction towards the Speedster.

It took a few minutes when everyone finally arrived at Izuku restaurant. The place appeared like a local diner with a typical friendly atmosphere. 

"Mom, we're here!"

Izuku yelled out trying to get his mother's attention and it didn't take long for her to arrive wearing an apron looking at them with a bright smile. His classmate immediately felt at him and how Inko gave out her motherly vibe. 

"Oh my there's really a lot of you? Hello I'm Inko Midoriya and it's nice to meet my son's new classmate."

Inko gave a light bow before giving a being smile letting such innocent radiance.

"Lord, please bless this kind woman!"

Ibara prayed.

"It is an honor to meet you, Mrs.Midoriya! My name is Iida tenya and I highly appreciate your invitation."

Iida approached her and did a 90° bow making everyone sweatdrop at his action. 

"Bro lay down the stiffness will yah? Why so serious?? Anyway, hello there my name is Sero hanta."

After that, they introduce themselves to Inko remembering their names and those girls that act anxious caught her attention and tingle her mother's senses.

'Oh good! More grandbabies to spoil in the future!' 

She excitedly thought, looking at Toru and Ochako while Tsuyu and Mina are debatable if they're interested in the speedster. 

"Well, then I'll leave my son in your care. Now then, I've prepared a wide array of dishes."

Inko brought them into the room where they waited for a few minutes before over a dozen different dishes were placed on the table, making everyone's stomach roar in hunger.  

"Eat up while they're hot! I'll be just in the chicken if any of you need me."

Once she left the room, everyone nodded to her before turning their attention to the meal in front of them.

"itadakimasu!!"

Everyone shouted while Ibara did a short prayer afterward and started to pour food onto their plates. Once they took a bite of the meal it caused a wave of foodgasm. 

"Holy Cow! Does your man somehow have a cooking quirk!?"

Kaminari exclaimed, savoring the taste of his food. 

"It's really amazing, Kero! I wonder if your mom could teach me, Midoriya-chan?"

Tsuyu is mostly the cook at her home when her parents aren't around. Izuku smiled hearing their compliment about his mother.

"Sure! I'll ask my mom later."

This caused the frog girl to smile.

"It's sooo good!! Uhmm Hey Ochako, why did you start with the mochi?"

Toru said looking at her friend who was eating the chewy sweet looking like a chipmunk from her puff cheek.

"I just love mochi! It's amazing!!" 

Ochako kept eating the mochi that Izuku found adorable. They went on eating and chatting and getting to know one another. Everyone was having a wonderful time sharing their hobbies and likes. Toru and Mina took out their phones, snapping a few photographs.

Izuku took the time to ask about their quirk in hopes to help improve their quirks. They happily shared information about their ability. Once they finished eating everyone started to head home.

"Whoa I'm stuff! It was really delicious, Midori-kun! And Miss Midoriya!"

Mina delightfully said

"Oh please call me Aunt Inko instead and all of you are always welcome at my restaurant. I'm just glad you all enjoy my cooking."

Inko said.

"Hey mom T-Tsu here, ask me if you can teach her how you cook."

Izuku stutters when his mother's vibe flickers when he uses tsuyu's nickname. It was so fast that even the speed force couldn't keep up for some illogical reason.

"That would be wonderful! Just tell Izuku when you want to come visit."

"I will Aunt Inko but can I bring my sibling as well?"

"Even better! I would love to see your sibling!"

Afterward the rest of his classmates returned home. Once Izuku sunk into his bed and mind faded into the dreamland. He awoke in a bizarre dream where his nothing but shadowy essence of black with white, gold, red and purple outline. 

'I can't seem to move. Where am I? This place feels too real to be a normal dream.'

The moment he turned someone was beside him. A beautiful woman with a tough demeanor. She was a fairly tall woman of slender yet voluptuous frame, and at the same time, she was well-built. 

She was fair-skinned and had a small mole below her bottom lip, centered to the right, and sharp, intelligent eyes with long eyelashes. Her hair was dark and straight, kept shoulder-length with the exception of a clump of short bangs hanging above her forehead, and was usually styled in a half-up-half-down bun.

Her hero costume consisted of a dark, sleeveless bodysuit with a high collar, yellow elbow-length gloves, and white knee-high boots. Around her waist was a belt with an angular golden buckle, a small cape attached around the back which hung down to her knees, and over her shoulders was a longer cape, buttoned to the shoulders of her bodysuit.
