Benefits and Harm

"So it's them, huh." A young girl watched everything that was happening at Second Wish. Her father had said that immortal aliens had entered Salia, although she was skeptical about it, the evidence is strong.

She saw K'len kill the players, but Amadashi was angry that he had challenged him. Also, the players vanished into particles of light a few seconds after their death, which was strange for her.

The emergence of immortal people could seriously affect the Salia hierarchy, especially the nobility. So, Her father was trying to find solutions to this problem without causing a war where innocent civilians would be involved.

"Your Highness, they seem to have fought their way into that shop." The royal guard said.

"Let's check out." The young girl was curious about the shop.

The royal guard followed her to protect her from any threat.

 -

"Leader, it looks like there is a purchase limit." A woman said to K'len.

Inside the shop, some players, especially from the guilds, were complaining about them not being able to buy more than ten power potions.

"Can't we buy more?" K'len asked the receptionist.

"Sir, some items are limited and can only be purchased in certain quantities. However, you can order a membership card if you want to buy more." The receptionist explained.

"Membership card?" K'len showed a curious expression.

"Yes, a membership card, called the Wish card(...)"

The receptionist explained about the Wish card.

A wish card is a card that players can purchase to earn exclusive benefits within the Second Wish store or any branch. The benefits are access to exclusive items, exclusive discounts, etc.

"To get the Wish card, you had to pay a one-time minimum fee. In addition, it is necessary to contribute materials to Second Wish monthly." The number of materials for the contribution was small, so it was viable for any player.

The Wish Card has 5 ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Ruby. Each rank grants more benefits.

"Hm…" K'len showed a thoughtful expression as he listened to the entire explanation. He had to admit that Aizen LightStar had a brilliant idea.

Wish Card could collect resources and make allies. It was a brilliant idea, but the effect could also backfire if Aizen couldn't produce the required amount of items.

"Alright, let's make the card. But, can't players send other people to buy for them?" K'len asked.

 'Fuck!'

The players in the shop looked at K'len with an angry expression. They were going to use the strategy of having someone buy it for them, but K'len had revealed everything.

'Leader…' The Faded Vitality members were also thinking about doing the same thing as the other players, but K'len had given it all away without thinking.

"Well, we used a lie detector." The receptionist pointed to an object that was on her desk.

The lie detector would prevent players from trying to break the rule.

"Oh…" K'len was already expecting this.

 -

"Miss, you can't cut the line-" The guard tried to stop the young girl from entering the shop, but her expression froze at the sight of the royal insignia on her chest.

 "Y-Your Highness-"

"Shhh!" The young girl stopped the guard from speaking.

"Don't tell anyone I was here, do you understand?"

The guard nodded in the affirmative.

The young girl entered the store with a curious expression.

"Your Highness, I don't remember this shop being here before." The royal guard commented.

"Looks like today is the grand opening." She was surprised to see so many people in the store.

"Your highness…" The royal guard pointed to the potions.

The young girl went towards the shelf and saw the Power potion.

 …

"Your Highness, this potion is very interesting." The royal guard was impressed by the power potion. He already knew this kind of potion that could increase the user's power, but side effects are often very serious.

"Impressive… I don't remember any royal alchemists opening a shop." Royal alchemists are alchemists who serve royalty in exchange for resources. In the Kingdom of Salia, few alchemists could produce an epic potion, most of them served royalty.

A potion of power with such low side effects was rare to find. This potion would also be very useful in wars.

"Hello Miss, how can I help you?" One of the receptionists approached.

"I want to buy the stock of power potions." The young girl replied.

"Sorry, miss, but we only sell in certain quantities." The receptionist informed.

The royal guard frowned as he listened to the receptionist's response.

The young girl showed the royal insignia to the receptionist, making her break out in a cold sweat.

"H-Eh, Your Highness?!" The receptionist felt that she had entered the worst situation of her life.

"We'll take all the stock, tell me the price." The girl reaffirmed.

"Y-Your Highness, the boss said we can't sell more than ten power potions to the same person!" The receptionist didn't want to lose her job. However, defying a royal order was a crime.

"Tell your boss we want all the stock." The girl was insistent on her decision. Of course, she was confident that she could acquire the entire stock of potions being royalty.

The greatest power in the Kingdom of Salia, especially in the capital, is royalty. Challenging them would bring nothing but misfortune, so ordinary citizens are very afraid of it.

"Y-Your Highness, I ask for your understanding." The receptionist didn't know where Aizen was, so she couldn't sell all the stock either.

She made a dogeza gesture to try to minimize the situation.

"You…" The royal guard was already losing patience.

The players in the store were confused to see the kind receptionist kneeling in front of a woman.

"Dude… I've seen this happen a few times…" A player muttered to his friend.

"Tsk! Isn't it the nobility? They're like guilds." A lone player commented.

Many looked at the young girl with contempt, others just ignored the situation.

K'len had overheard the entire conversation between the receptionist and the girl.

This situation brought back memories of his past. Same scene, same situation: He kneels before powerful people, begging them not to take everything.

Why do people feel the need to humiliate others?

K'len walked towards the young girl with a serious expression.

"Didn't you hear what she said?!" K'len exclaimed.

The royal guard frowned at K'len.

"I don't think you had anything to do with it. Leave here if you want no trouble." The Royal Guard said.

"Guess what? I'm dying to find trouble."

"Leader!" The Faded Vitality members were shocked by how inconsequential their Leader is.

The royal guard was ready to draw his sword, but…

 "What's going on here?"

"Boss!" The receptionist was relieved to see Aizen coming down the stairs.

Players who were in the store were shocked to see him.

"Damn, it's him!" The players muttered.

Aizen frowned at the sight of such a troublesome situation.

"Are you the shop owner? We want to take the power potion stock." The royal guard said.

"No." Aizen denied it without hesitation.

"What- you…" The royal guard didn't expect this. "Do you know who we are-"

"I won't repeat it. If you don't want to buy it, then leave." Aizen didn't want to prolong this matter.

The royal guard issued pressure that made the players shiver, but Aizen only frowned in displeasure.

"You're causing trouble at my store. You better leave." Aizen also released a menacing aura, startling the royal guard.

Even the young girl who had been silent until now frowned.

 "Not you-"

When the guard tried to speak, he was interrupted by the girl.

 "We're leaving." She said.

 "What- But Your Highness-"

 "Silence!"

 The guard shut up.

"Can I know your name?" She asked.

Aizen was confused, but replied, "Aizen LightStar."

"Well, I hope you have good business." She bought 10 power potions and left.

 …

'Royalty, huh.' Aizen thought as he saw the distant silhouette of the girl.

He knew a bit about royalty. His business could be in trouble from today.

Despite knowing that he could have problems, he still refused to sell all power potions. He had reasons for making this decision and was prepared for possible retaliation.

 *Sigh!*

'She doesn't look so bad.' Aizen thought as he remembered the girl.

His ring allowed him to see souls, that is, the essence of a being. The girl's soul was pure, even though she seemed cold.

"I apologize to everyone for this situation." Aizen said to everyone in the store.

The players tried to talk to him, but the next moment he was gone.

"Dude, that was really cool!" One of the players said.

 "You bet."
