Chapter 46: String Cuts and Master Disciplines
William K Shadow was attacked by an enemy whom he knew from before. Losing his right hand, he was quite surprised and was feeling the pain. He stopped the bleeding by putting his left hand over the cut. The shadow soldiers immediately returned to him in order to protect him.
"Are you hurt, William?" the enemy asked and laughed.
"I did not expect you to be here," William said and chuckled.
"Looks like your guesses are very wrong nowadays," the enemy said laughingly.
"It is very suspicious," William said in a tensed voice.
"What is suspicious?" the enemy said, smirking.
"Your coming here to attack me is very suspicious," William said looking at the enemy.
"A warrior must fulfill his duty, ain't I right, William?" the enemy said in a calm voice.
"So your coming here is an order you received, huh?" William said in a cold voice.
"You got that right," the enemy said laughing.
"You are the only one I would like not to fight at this moment but since you have cut my hand already, I suppose it is high time I crushed you," William said and stepped back.
"Do you have the strength to crush me right now?" the enemy said laughing.
"I wouldn't if other CBF0 members came to attack but I believe I can take you down even with one hand, Graybeard," William said in a calm voice.
"You sure got high confidence William," Graybeard said laughingly.
"I guess you are not wrong," William said with confidence.
"Let's settle this, William," Graybeard said in a serious voice.
Graybeard, a CBF0 member with a long body, gray beards, black hair, brown eyes. He wore a suit with a CBF0 logo on it.
CBF0 is considered the strongest CBF unit. It is also assigned to protect the King of Kings personally. It plays a heavy role in the army of King of Kings.
William with one hand got in a position to fight. He made a shadow right hand to fight against Graybeard. His three shadow soldiers rushed to Graybeard at the same time.
Quinca reached Graybeard at first. He punched Graybeard. But Graybeard stopped the punch with his hand. He threw up Quinca far away from William.
The next one to attack Graybeard was Rudolf. Rudolf used its claws to cut Graybeard. But Graybeard dodged all of its attacks. Jorion with his huge body rushed to Graybeard for a hand to hand fight.
Graybeard pulled out his strings as he had the power of string elements. He could make strings and manipulate them in any way he wanted to. Graybeard threw multiple strings to cut down Jorion.
Multiple strings came at Jorion at the same time. Jorion was unable to defend itself since it had no idea about the string element. Jorion was cut down in a thousand pieces.
Rudolf was the only remaining shadow soldier William could summon at that time. Rudolf, after seeing the state of Quinca and Jorion, had found a way to get closer to Graybeard. Graybeard continued throwing his strings at Rudolf.
Since Rudolf was a foxman, it had greater speed. It was able to dodge the strings of Graybeard. When it got closer to Graybeard, it punched him hard. Graybeard was surprised to see the techniques of Rudolf but it couldn't survive for long. Graybeard released multiple strings after jumping back to cut down Rudolf.
Rudolf was attacked by a lot of strings. It couldn't dodge them and thus was cut down in many pieces.
"Seems like your shadow soldiers are all gone, William," Graybeard said laughing.
"That's great," William said smiling.
"Why are you so happy?" Graybeard asked with a surprised face.
"They have bought me enough time," William said smiling.
"Is that so? Then let's see what you can do," Graybeard said with confidence and walked towards William.
William had summoned daggers named Dark Kris. They were made pretty well out of shadow elements. They were pitch dark and sharp as new.
William rushed to Graybeard who was marching to William. Seeing William coming, Graybeard threw thousands of strings. William cut those strings using his daggers. He was at his fastest speed.
Nothing could stop him from taking down Graybeard. But Graybeard was also tough. He used all his powers to stop William but in the end he failed.
William had stabbed his chest. Graybeard was bleeding and sat on his knees on the ground.
"You indeed are a king with a one billion bounty," Graybeard said laughing.
"Any last words?"
"Yeah."
"What is it?"
"CBF...50," Graybeard said, smirking.
At the same time, William was not feeling right. He was losing his powers. He looked down on his stomach and saw blood!
He looked back and saw something he couldn't believe. It was Uiko who had stabbed him from the back!
"Aren't you supposed to be dead?" William said with a shocked voice.
"I was, but I am alive now," Uiko said smiling.
"I guess you didn't know about CBF50, William," Graybeard said and stood up.
"How did it happen?" William said as he was spitting blood from his mouth.
"CBF50 is a unit with immortal elemental users. They can never die," Graybeard said while cleaning his body.
"Damn….it," William said and continued spitting blood.
Graybeard walked towards William and stood still before him.
"It is the end, William," Graybeard said, looking down at William.
Meanwhile Frederica arrived at the spot where Charwell was fighting against CBF21. It was a devastating fight but Charwell took away the glory as they defeated CBF21. They were happy and taking a rest lying on the ground.
They saw Frederica. They were relieved to see her alive. They stood up and walked towards her. Frederica was happy too.
But soon the smile faded away. Charwell members suddenly were pushed on the floor and they were feeling that Earth was pulling them in. Frederica was surprised and had no idea how it happened.
Later she heard a voice from behind.
"Greetings Frederica," a voice came from behind. Frederica knew the voice. She turned around and she was correct. The tall man with a huge muscular body without any hair was no other than her own MASTER!
