Roughly 3 months had passed and Allen's vision had been improving, faraway objects were still blurry but at least he could see. Most days he was left in his crib while his mother sewed clothing and his father would work till late. From what he could hear his dad was some kind of butcher that worked for the Adventurers Guild.
Mary, his mother, had taken him outside a few times and every time he was amazed by the new world. Like most of the manga, the world resembled medieval times very closely. The big difference was that people seemed to use monsters and beasts for daily chores. That was pretty much all he was able to gather since he couldn't even crawl yet.
"Man, I'm so freakin bored, why am I tired and hungry all the time? AHHH! who would think that I would spend another three months laying down in bed after I can finally move."
As he whined, his mother put down a woman's dress that she was stitching and looked at him. "Are you hungry little guy? I can't wait for you to grow up so that I don't have to worry about getting my clothes dirty when milk suddenly comes out."
After feeding him she patted his back for a few minutes until he burped. Mary then went to her room and came back out wearing a new change of clothes. "Phew, I'm nearly done with the assigned clothes this time. Once Allen grows up I'll have to quit this job, though it allows me to stay at home, it's just very stressful. I also don't like the way that manager looks at me when I return the clothes and get new ones."
He nodded, "I don't like that pervert either. Quit that job and find something else Mary, I'll be okay on my own. Just give me a bottle and I'll figure out a way to feed myself."
He wasn't able to speak yet so everything came out as baby chatter and Mary didn't really pay attention and instead resumed her sewing.
"Man, this is so boring, all I do is stare at the hay ceiling or the blankets. Even when I was paralyzed I had more fun than this. I want my TV back and also Iris, at lea...…."
Suddenly strands of light appeared and slowly a phone began to materialize right in front of him, 'what the?'
The phone seemed to be completely be made out of the blue light and when he reached for it he could actually touch it.

On the blue screen of the phone, a keypad appeared, the phone itself was weightless and was the perfect size for his baby hands.

"Iris?.....Yes!"
The robotic voice that he was hearing in his head was uncomfortable so he was glad that he was able to modify it.
"Let's see, Female and Australian Accent and finish setup"
Once he had clicked on the finish button the screen turned black for a few seconds and then suddenly 5 boxes with question marks appeared on the phone. When they touched the corner of the screen they bounced back, the same thing happened when they touched each other.
[Please Select]
'Select? Is this the free packet thing? Are they items or skills? Which one do I pick? Ahhh! Get your shit together Alex! Questioning it won't matter, the faster I finish this the sooner I can see if I can use this phone to call my brother. It's highly unlikely but it's worth a try.'
Allen began sweating from the pressure, he knew that the one he chose now would affect his new life. "Alright I'll leave it to destiny, Eenie, meeny, minnie miny moe catch a…."
When he clicked on one of the boxes the others disintegrated, a second later the box opened and what looked like an app came out. The app had an icon that seemed to be of a cave and when he clicked on it the app became smaller and it placed itself on the home screen.
'Idle Dungeon? Why was I given a game? What I need right now is something that can actually help me out. Oh, there's more, User Stats and Store but no camera or phone? Let's take a look at the Store, maybe it's like Play Store or App Store.'
When he clicked on the app the screen changed into something that very closely resembled the Google Play Store homepage. The thing was that there were four very important differences, one of them being that there was no search bar. The second was that there were only basic apps for installing such as Google, Camera, Gallery, Phone, Contacts, Notes, Clock, Calculator, and Compass. The third is that there was a tab titled Idle Games and the tab had the box with the question mark like the ones he had seen earlier. Finally, the last difference was that these apps could only be purchased using purple crystals.
"The Phone app costs 1000 crystals? Also, is that tab going to draw a random Idle game like before? It costs 300 crystals, I don't know where to get these crystals but that sounds like a lot for a game."
He tried to click on the Phone app but when he did Iris spoke inside his head.
[User does not have enough Core Crystals.]
'Core Crystals? In manga they usually come from monsters. Could it be that that's what the Dungeon App is for?'
He quickly went back to the home screen and clicked on the Idle Dungeon app. Allen was surprised when the phone didn't even load the app and the game began right away with a cut scene.
The scene showed two armies fighting each other inside what seemed like a labyrinth made out of dirt. The attacking army was ridiculously better than the defending army. The defending army seemed to only be made out of about 20 low-level skeletons warriors, and 30 blue slimes but their numbers were very quickly decreasing. As for the attacking army, they were made up of about 200 skeletons soldiers, but they were different from the ones defending. The first 50 or so were basic skeletons but the ones on the back were blood red and had full sets of black armor.
Behind the skeletons was a man that seemed to be some kind of Tiger Beastman. Over his head there the name Dungeon Lord Kapla glowed red.
The labyrinth was small and he quickly found the dungeon room where the Dungeon Lord was standing next to a small glowing orb.
When he zoomed closer to the defending dungeon lord the name Dungeon Lord Rahim appeared in blue. The dungeon lord seemed to be some kind of humanoid ogre. A text bubble appeared on top of his head as he began walking back and forth.
"That bastard, he gains nothing from attacking me so why? My dungeon was only formed 10 years ago, not nearly as long as his."
As he read the text Allen saw the enemy dungeon lord start walking towards the room. He scrolled back out and found that the defending army had been completely wiped.
'Dang this is a hell of an intro, poor guy.'
He went back to the meeting between the two dungeon lords and watched their interaction.
Rahim: "You damn overgrown cat. Curse you, just like you have attacked me you will also be...…"
Before Rahim could finish what he was about to say, the Demi-human slashed his neck and the ogre's head fell and rolled on the ground.
Kapla: "Don't waste my time."
The dungeon lord then moved towards the orb and touched it, he seemed to be absorbing something out of it and once he was done the orb lost its glow. The Tiger then went on to crushing the orb with one hand.
Kapla: "I was already expecting you to have very little mana but this amount really disappoints. Alright, move it! We still have other dungeons to take care of. Also now that the dungeon crystal has been crushed then the dungeon will begin to crumble."
The army began to leave the dungeon and just like the dungeon lord has said, sections of the dungeon began to disappear as the walls crumbled. The screen showed days passing and a number on the corner counted how many days had passed, it stopped when it hit 80 days. In the middle of the rubble, Allen found a white ghost icon floating inside the dirt.
When he tapped on the ghost a bright white light engulfed the screen and the glow slowly began to dissipate.
