Newborn God

In the middle of a 15x15 room, fragments of light began seeping out of the dirt floor. These fragments came together and began to form a humanoid figure and when the figure was completed the light died down revealing a young ogre. The blond ogre looked no different than a human except for the two small horns that he had on his forehead.

After appearing, the confused ogre touched his throat, the last thing he remembered was looking at his enemy as his head rolled away from his body.

"How am I still alive? This room it's just like when I was born, the 15x 15 room connected to the 20 ft long tunnel that has an entrance to the outside world."

Rahim suddenly froze when he felt mana start to gather in his body, it was something that he had never felt before. He wildly looked around trying to find his dungeon crystal but it was not there.

He found this to be impossible, the dungeon crystal is the method that dungeon lords use to gather mana and shop for subordinates, traps, magic, daily necessities, and rewards to absorb mana from humans and monsters that die challenging the dungeons. Short story short he was screwed without the mana crystal there was nothing that he would be able to do.

As Rahim was processing what was happening he suddenly saw a statue appear in the corner of the room. It stayed there a few seconds before disappearing and appearing once more in another corner. After moving 4 more times it stayed in place so he walked towards it with curiosity.

'Could this be why I'm still alive? But I've never seen this in my life so how did it suddenly show up?'

He realized that the statue seemed to be an altar of what looked to be a newborn human. Its eyes glowed green and underneath his feet, there was a concrete floor that was about 4 feet long and wide. On the floor, there was what seemed to be a magic circle glowing blue.

"I've never seen this altar before and this magic circle, where exactly does it lead to?"

Rahim didn't know how or why, but this altar he was sure, had something to do with his revival.

He continued receiving mana for about 6 more minutes but it began to get slower until it stopped. When he looked back at the statue he found that the eyes had lost their green glow. For the first time in 10 years, he felt very alone and he didn't like it.

"So I was right the Altar had to do with my revival, could it be that I have been blessed by a newborn god?"

'Ouch, my wrists are killing me, playing an idle tapping game really doesn't work when you are a baby. Wait? Who the hell cares haha I can finally play the game myself without having to rely on anyone haha.'

He had enjoyed his time playing but there was a problem, everything that he could purchase in the game cost so much mana. Each time he tapped on Rahim it only gave .1 point of mana and the cheapest barrack building was the Normal Slime Barrack which costs 100 points and that's just the building. He was sure that you would have to spend MP for every unit as well.

Allen could apparently increase the amount of MP per tap but that would cost him Core Crystals just like the ones he needed to purchase other apps. He had a feeling that he wouldn't be getting any from the game though. He would still have hope if the game was about raiding the dungeon instead of helping build it.

For now, he was interested in the 50 point throne in the shop, it was the cheapest throne but that would hopefully keep the damn ogre in place. He kept moving around and it made things a little more difficult.

Expanding the dungeon was probably for another time since it cost 10MP for every 3x3 ft square.

All that moving had made his baby body extremely tired. He yawned and thought about putting the phone away. As soon as he did the phone disintegrated and he looked at the particles of light slowly disappearing.

"Well I don't know if I'll get anything out of playing the game but since it's part of my system I'm sure I will. Even if I don't at least it's helping me get entertained otherwise I would have died of bor…edome.."

Before he knew it he had fallen asleep, when Marry finished her work she walked to the crib and saw her baby smiling in his sleep. She gave him a loving smile and covered him with a blanket, "Just what are you dreaming about little one"
