It had been a week since Allen first started playing Idle Dungeon and he liked the progress that he had made so far. From what he calculated when he seriously tried he could tap the phone roughly 300 times every minute. That meant that after 6 minutes he could gather 1800 taps or 18 MP which wasn't bad at all. Per day he was able to get 36 MP sometimes if didn't care about the consequences of having sore muscles he could hit 54 MP.

At the moment he was laying on his crib trying to massage his aching wrists. 1,800 taps might not sound like much but for his body it was.

'Sadly this game isn't Idle at all, at least not until I buy the dungeon crystal which costs 10,000 MP. This brings a whole new meaning to no pain, no gain'

Mary had finished her new orders so she was going to take them back to the shop. This meant that he was going to be able to see the town again. It was something that he always looked forward to, he couldn't wait to get older and stay outside all day.

When they were about a quarter of the way he heard a voice that he knew very well.

[Your Dungeon has been targeted]

"Oh about time, it's been a week now and no one has attacked. I was starting to think that I might have wasted points buying the slime barrack and training so many of them. Still, I'm surprised that I get notified."

'Iris'

As soon as he finished saying the name of the system the phone materialized in front of him.

As Rahim sat on his new throne he looked around the dungeon room. It hadn't been long since he was revived and he had closely observed the changes that the Altar had brought. The first was a throne made out of bones from all kinds of creatures, then two days later two red double doors appeared closing off the dungeon room from the 20-foot tunnel.

These things were great but 2 days ago a large painting appeared on the wall of the dungeon. The painting was of a building that was made of a blue substance similar to the goo of a slime.

When it appeared Rahim had walked to it to inspect it but suddenly the painting began to warp and a slime came out of it.

He was spooked at first and had tried cutting it down but his axe seemed to go right through the monster. Rahim had tried many different ways of destroying the core of the slime but it was all futile. Little by little more slimes began popping out of the painting until there were about 40 of them.

He found it surprising that the slimes listened to his orders since he wasn't the one who summoned them. After several tests, he found that they were more obedient than the ones he used to summon using the crystal. Something else that he found out was that they couldn't harm each other. He didn't know if the reason was because they were given life by the same entity or if they were truly invincible.

'Sounds too good to be true but so does being able to come back from death.'

As was thinking to himself, the eyes of the statue glowed red. It was the first time that had occurred ever since the altar had appeared, before he could try to understand the situation the double doors shut themselves and they became transparent allowing him to see into the tunnel.

There he saw that a group of kobolds were entering the dungeon and were now engaged in a fight with the slimes.

'They are actually able to kill the slimes, so that means that only we can't kill each other? If this is true I wish I had my crystal so that I could buy grimoires. I would be able to go all out without having to kill my own subordinates. Wait..... my own subordinates!'

He quickly opened the door and ran to the tunnel, "Stop fighting!"

The slimes might be weak but when 40 of them fought against 12 kobold soldiers it was a massacre. Three of the kobolds had already been reduced to a pile of bones and the rest had patches of missing flesh.

He had seen the bravery of the slimes the young god had summoned but this was just astonishing. Kobolds are indeed reckless beasts but they might have been able to stand up to the slimes if they were normal ones. Slimes might look like mindless blobs but they also have feelings if they see their comrades being decimated then they start to cower a bit. They might still fight but they do so with fear, these slimes however don't seem to mind it. They had kept charging as if they weren't afraid of death.

When they heard him yell stop the slimes immediately jumped off the kobolds but they stayed surrounding them. What Rahim was going to try to do was recruit them into the dungeon. It was a common thing that new Dungeon Lords would do since it saves mana. The problem with recruiting beasts from outside the dungeons is that one could not trust their loyalty. That's why it was less likely to occur once someone had upgraded their Dungeon Crystal.

Rahim didn't really have an issue though, if he recruited the Kobolds there was no crystal for them to destroy. He just wanted to show the entity that he was worth their investment, he couldn't just sit there and receive he had to make contributions as well.

"The 9 of you have tried to raid my dungeon and you have failed. Now you have two choices: join me or die."

The Kobolds looked at each other and seemed to admit defeat all except one that tried charging at him with a wooden spear but he was caught in midair by about 50 slime tentacles. The Kobold yelped in pain as his flesh was slowly dissolved. When the slimes had finished all that was left was the bones and the spear.

Rahim couldn't help but smile as he saw the heads and ears of the kobolds droop down.

"Excellent then I take it that you agree to join us?"

The eight dog-like beings nodded and put their weapons down. As soon as they nodded something strange occurred, the missing flesh on the kobolds began to heal until it was as if nothing had ever happened.

The kobolds looked at their bodies and began wagging their tails, "Master has such power, it's amazing."

Rahim was the most surprised of all, he quickly looked around to see if the dead slimes had been revived but they hadn't. The cores still lay on the ground along with the bones of the Kobolds.

'Wait….. Did he just say master? Also, they were healed, does that mean that the god has accepted them as his subordinates as well?'

He told the Kobolds to get comfortable and do their duties guarding the dungeon as he walked back to his room and closed the door. The eyes on the statue once again turned green and that meant that the god was watching him.

Rahim knew this because every time the eyes glowed green he would receive mana and that was also when the changes would occur.

As he sat down on his throne but froze when he saw the whole statue turn red. He quickly ran to the door and opened it but everything was peaceful.

'Is the god angry with my decision? How could that be he healed them, doesn't that mean that he agrees?'

As he racked his brain for an answer his gaze landed on the magic circle on the feet of the statue. 'That's right I haven't given the god any offerings. He has done so much for me but how have I repaid him? The thing is that I don't have anything, all that I have has been given by him. The only thing that doesn't come from him is my clothes, my axe, and the...Kobolds!'

Rahim quickly opened the door and ordered the slimes to bring the skeletons of the Kobolds. Once they were inside the dungeon room he placed the remains on the magic circle and it began to glow.

[Would you like to send three kobold remains as a tribute to IdleGod911]

Rahim was surprised by the woman's voice that seemed to be coming from inside his head.

'God911? Does that mean that there are 911 entities with similar power?'

"Yes send tribute"

The magic circle let out a bright light and when he looked back the remains were gone. Rahim quickly looked at the statue but there was no change. The statue was still red and it had actually started to release some heat.

'Could it be that the god was offended? Does he view the remains as trash?'

Rahim hurried to call the Kobolds over; it would take some convincing but he had to find a way to get them to agree to serve the god or goddess as tributes.
