Chapter starts on Hugo walking through the hallway. He sees a several Pokemon in the hallway, all looking at Sunny and FireStone talking to each other.

Hugo: *To himself* K-Kai was right.

He watches as Sunny and FireStone talk to each other with the other Pokemon staring.

Sunny: You know, you really need to learn how not to run into fights. I can't heal you like that all the time. You almost died!

FireStone: Haha. What's the matter? Having a hard time keeping my HP up?

Sunny: When you run into a bunch of monsters like you did last night, yeah!

They walk down the hallway.

As the walk, other Pokemon start talking about them.

Random boy: Are they actually walking together?

Random girl: He's not good enough for her.

Random boy: I thought they didn't get along.

Random boy: It's just so weird to see them like that.

Random girl: Ah, I knew it! They're totally dating!

Random boy: Heh, lucky guess.

Meanwhile with Sunny and FireStone standing alone in the hallway.

FireStone: So, are you going to try and talk to them today?

Sunny: Yeah, I'm going to give it my best shot! I just really—

Balto: *Walking up to Sunny* Hey! Sunny, there you are!

Sunny: Uh, Balto!

Balto: So, I was wondering— *Sees Aaron* Huh? GRRRR! FIRESTONE?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

FireStone: We're hanging out.

Balto: We who? Wait, you two? Ha. Hahahaha! Gonna punch him again, Sunny?

Sunny: Hehe, he probably deserves it for some reason.

FireStone: Haha! You can't even reach my face without standing on a chair!

Sunny: Hey! Get on my level and say that!

Balto: (Huh? what's going on? They're being playful with each other. Are they friends now?) So, Sunny, I was wondering if you were interested in talking somewhere... in private.

FireStone: *Grabbing Sunny and preventing Balto from taking her. Sunny is blushing and FireStone has a very angry face on* I know what you're trying to do. Leave her alone.

Balto: Heh, the alpha male protecting his mate, eh? Hmph. Watch your back. *He walks away*

FireStone isn't angry anymore, but he's blushing slightly.

Sunny: Huh? Did- did Balto say "mate"? Uh, Aaron. Pst! Is he Australian, too?

FireStone: Uh, what?

Sunny: I just realized that a lot of our Lycanroc classmates say "mate" a lot. I wonder if they transferred here from Australia.

FireStone: Have... you been doing your Lycanroc homework?

Meanwhile with Balto walking behind the bleachers towards the Shadow Knight meeting place. Gene, Ivy and Lily are there.

Balto: Gene. We got a problem.

Gene: *Sighs* What is it now.

Balto: It's Sunny and FireStone. They're... They're...

Gene: Spit it out.

Balto: They're friends.

Gene: What!!!

Balto: I don't know how to explain it. The other day they wanted to fight each other. Today, they're... acting like a couple.

Gene: Impossible! He has a friend now?! Lily, what's going on?!

Lily: I tried to tell you earlier. This morning, I went over to flirt with him, and he was with her. I started making fun of her, and he said...

Start flashback

FireStone: She happens to be one of my best friends. So if you're going to talk to her like that, then I don't think we should be friends anymore.

Gene: Are you serious?! I thought you were lying!

Lily: Why would I be doing that?

Ivy: Are you calling my cousin a liar?!

Gene: If the shoe fits.

Ivy: *Punches Gene in the face* Humph! No one calls my cousin a liar except me! Besides, if she's with Aaron, then I don't have to worry about her and Hugo. Come on, Lily. *She walks off*

Lily: Later, loser. *She follows Ivy*

Balto: So, is this "plan" of yours still on?

Gene: Hm, yeah, it is. Just happening a little sooner than expected. Come on, let's go. *He walks off, and Balto follows*

Timeskip to Sunny and FireStone studying together in the cafeteria. Everyone nearby is watching them.

Sunny: Huh, I see. So the alpha male and female are dominant.

FireStone: Yeah.

Sunny: Interesting. Wait! So, if Lycanroc here work the same, shouldn't there be an alpha male and female in our school?!

FireStone: *Blushing and with a red face* Uh, yeah.

Sunny: Really?! Do you know who they are?

Kris comes behind Aphmau with her arms out.

Sunny: Huh?

Kris: Don't worry Sunny, we'll save you! *She walked off, taking Sunny with her*

Celest: *Walking over to FireStone* Get away from her, you big meanie! *She leaves*

Ariel: Kris~Chan, Celest~Chan, get back here! They were so cute together!

Ariel runs off after the other girls, and Aaron watches them leave. Meanwhile with Kris, Ariel, Sunny, and Celest talking in the girls' bathroom.

Kris: Sunny, are you okay? Did he hurt you?

Sunny: What are you guys doing?! I—

Celest: Did he say anything mean to you? I swear, if he did, I will write a formal complaint to the principal.

Sunny: Guys, seriously, calm down! FireStone and I are—

Ariel: How dare you guys! They were so cute reading from the same book!

Kris: Are you crazy. Ariel, he was going to kill her! Did you see the way he looked at her? He was red!

Celest: *Sighs* Actually, I think he might have been—

Sunny: Rgh, Enough, you guys! Ugh! FireStone and I are friends now.

Celest and Kris: WHAT?!

Sunny: Mm hm, that's right. It turns out we have a lot in common.

Kris: You, friends with him? Sunny, are you crazy? He's been in so many fights.

Sunny: Yes, but he never started any of them! He was just sticking up for himself!

Meanwhile with some Lycanroc boys are standing by their lockers. Ariel's squeals are still heard in the background.

LYRC Boy 1: Oh my Irene, what is that horrid sound? My ears!

LYRC boy 2: Ugh, it sounds like high pitched screams of fangirls who died of fangirlism!

Ariel's voice finally dies out. Meanwhile with Sunny, who is walking towards FireStone at his locker. He turns when she gets close.

Sunny: Hey, uh, sorry about that. My friends pulled me away, thinking that you were picking on me.

FireStone: Heh, it's alright. Honestly, I don't blame them.

Sunny: Yeah, we weren't this close a couple of days ago.

FireStone: It's— still... pretty unbelievable. I can't believe I'm really here with you, in person.

Sunny: Same. The way everything turned out, I-I'm glad it was you.

FireStone: Same. So, are you going to talk to them?

Sunny: Yes, but... I'm afraid they'll reject me.

FireStone: Don't be. I'll be here with you. It's better to talk with them and explain things.

Ironically enough, Kai and Hugo were watching Sunny and FireStone from around the corner.

Laurance: There they are. Here, use this. *He hands Hugo his phone* Take a video. If she tries to deny this, we have evidence.

Back to Sunny and FireStone.

Sunny: You're right. Let's go find Kai and Hugo.

Gene: *Walking over with Balto* Well, well, well. There you two are.

Sunny: Huh— Gene!

Gene: Balto.

Balto: I'm on it! *He walks over and punches FireStone*

Sunny: FireStone!

Gene: Now let's see what he's going to do, especially when we catch it on camera.

Sunny: Huh? H-hey! Give me that!

Gene: Heh, no way! You two have ruined my plans too may times. Now, I'm going to have to brute force it. Once FireStone hits Balto, I'll have proof of him starting a fight. Then, he'll be expelled. After all, he's already suspect for starting all those other fights. Hahaha!

Balto: C'mon! Fight me!

FireStone: I'm not going to do that. You're just taunting me.

Gene: Not going to fight? Fine! If you can't get past Balto, then you won't stop me from... kissing Sunny.

Sunny and FireStone: What?!

Balto: Hahahaha! Nice, Gene! Get 'im where it hurts!

Sunny: That's disgusting! I thought you didn't like me!

Hugo: Stop!

Gene: Huh? Tch. You. What do you want? *Baby voice* Shouldn't you be sitting in a corner sobbing over how she broke your heart?

Kai: We heard and saw everything.

Gene: Hahaha! Oh yeah? Prove it.

Kai: We were recording the whole thing.

Balto: Darn it!

Hugo: Let them go, or else we'll show this to the teachers.

Sunny: *Punching Gene in the face* Nice thing about punching, FireStone. I've learned a few things.

Ariel: *Coming around the corner* Ariel is here! Eat cat potion! *Throws cat potions at Balto and Gene, who turn into cats and start meowing* Ah, hahaha! *She starts driving them away from Sunny and FireStone with a stick* No one messes with Ariel's ship and gets away with it! *She and the cats leav*)

Sunny: Hugo! Kai!

Hugo: Sunny.

FireStone: Thank you. Both of you. That situation could have really turned out worse. For them. Haha.

Sunny: Haha. FireStone.

Kai: So the rumors were true. You guys really are dating.

Sunny: Heh, no, we're not dating.

Kai and Hugo: Huh?

FireStone: It's a long story, but, Aphmau and I are just

Sunny: Really good friends.

Kai: Oh.

Hugo: See, told you!

FireStone: I wanted to talk to you two. I know a lot has happened between you and Sunny, but, you shouldn't let your emotions get in the way. Are you friends?

Sunny: FireStone—

FireStone: What's happened has happened. There were misunderstandings that could have been cleared up by just talking about it.

Kai: No, I understand.

Hugo: It was my fault, really. I kissed her without asking, and told her not to tell.

Kai: Yeah, I did the same.

Sunny: I just want to be friends with you guys again. Can we... start over? As just friends?

Kai and Hugo: Yeah!

Sunny: Haha! Besides, you guys are too serious for a relationship with me.

Hugo: Serious?! Hmph. *Using his When Angels Fall voice* I don't have to be serious all the time.

Kai: Hahaha! What's with that voice?

Hugo: This is my not-serious voice.

Sunny: Haha! Needs some work. Hehe.

Timeskip to Sunny and FireStone standing in front of Sunny's house, FireStone having apparently just walked her home.

Sunny: Thanks for walking me home.

FireStone: It's no problem.

Sunny: Hmm, maybe next time, I'll walk you home.

FireStone: I'd enjoy the company.

Sunny: Hehe! So, I'll see you online tonight?

FireStone: Yeah, I'll see you then. *Walks down the stairs, then pauses* Hey, Shu?

Sunny: Yeah, FC?

FireStone: Night.

Sunny: Night. *He (FireStone) walks away*

Sunny walks inside, and FireStone walks down the sidewalk, pauses to watch Sunny go in, then continues to walk down the sidewalk.
