Chapter 7 Impel down...

After that night with Hancock, Luffy announced that he is the husband of the empress which shocked all the Kuja women in the island.

The most shocking part of it all was that hancock didn't deny it and had a huge blush on her face as she muttered inexplicable things.

In the next few days, he rested and went to recover his injuries, going to rescue ace while being injures is a stupid move.

4 days has passed, and he went and asked hancock to help him sneak into Impel down to save ace. Although he is a traverser, but he still cherishes his family and would go to great lengths to help them.

Though for some reason he didn't warn ace to not chase after Blackbeard, maybe he inherited the stupid nature of the original luffy.

Hancock obviously agreed as she is under the protagonist halo, the protagonist halo is invincible to anyone who falls under it.

The only way to resist the protagonist halo is to have a strong mind and mentality or… to have a clear mind to avoid the protagonist.

Although Hancock has a strong mind compared to ordinary people, but she still has the one weakness that luffy exploited and that is the psychological shadow towards celestial dragons.

After Hancock agreed to luffy's request, she quickly prepared her flagship, the Perfume Yuda, and made an appointment to visit Ace for unspecified reasons.

Any normal person would view this as very suspicious…

The warden in impel down agreed and sent a marine ship to escort them. Later, the marine ship arrived, Hancock boarded the ship, and the ship set sails to impel down, followed by the Perfume Yuda of the Kuja pirates.

While Hancock was boarded the ship, she wore rather thick clothes, looking like a big dumpling with the clothes she wore.

It doesn't look suspicious at all, yes, totally normal.

Luffy was hiding under all those clothes, clinging onto the seductive body of hancock and was very careful not to move.

If he moves slightly then the already suspicious choice of clothing would be even more suspicious.

Though hancock was blushing all the way through.

She arrived at her room and let out luffy. The two stayed in the room with hancock only going out to get some more food.

Time passes by and the marine ship reached impel down.

Hancock got off board and sneaked luffy in the prison with the same trick, bypassing the full-body check by temporarily petrifying the head jailor, Domino, and the security cameras to avoid revealing luffy from being discovered.

Impel down is a huge structure that has an official 5 floors or levels.

The first to second floor houses the most prisoners as they are small part-time criminals or pirates with a bounty of less than 50 million beli.

Floor three to five are criminals that have a bounty of more than 50 million with some exceptions.

Lastly, there is a 6th floor to this underwater prison. The level 6 of impel down that holds the most dangerous pirates in the world and those that threaten the world government and thus had their existence removed from history.

This is also the floor where Ace is being held.

Because of knowing that ace is in level 6, luffy continued to hide in Hancock's skirt. Whether it is due to the protagonist halo or not, he avoided the consequence of being arrested.

There are about one thousand elite marine soldiers that each have a rear admiral strength, strong intermediate Haki masters, and powerful martial arts.

They are each stationed at level 1 to 2 of impel down to prevent riots that might happen during the upcoming war, it was a personal order given by their admiral.

After the brief and short inspection, Hannyabal, the vice warden, was the person assigned to lead the warlord to level 6 of impel down.

The chief warden, Magellan, is a person who likes to eat poisoned food and as he is immune to poison due to eating the doki doki no mi, there is no actual damage done to him.

The only adverse effect is severe diarrhea that caused him to stay in the toilet 10 hours a day.

Hannyabal, the vice warden, greeted Hancock politely and said some bad things about the warden and how good of a warden he'll be once he takes over.

Hancock had a cold face and ignored what he said as domino walks behind the two, her status is lower than Hannyabal's so it wouldn't be right to lead the group.

After a while he stopped talking as talking alone is boring. They took an elevator down from the first floor to five floor and head towards a heavily guarded passageway that leads to level 6 of impel down.

Down at level 6, Hannyabal leads hancock to the cell of ace. As they got closer and closer to the cell, there was a surge of worry in her heart.

She doesn't know why she was worried, but her women's six sense is telling her that something is about to happen and that something is going to be bad.

A few moments later, they arrived at the cell that ace should be in. The anxiety and worry in her heart didn't lessen as she was in front of the cell and when she looked in the cell, she found that ace seems to be missing.

The anxiety and worry surged to the peak, she had a cold face on the outside as she said as calmly as she could, "Where is ace, vice warden? Are you making a joke at a warlord?"

Hannyabal had a smile that looks a bit sinister as he said, "Don't hide it, Mrs. Hancock. You hid a pirate under your skirt. Although I don't know why but we know there is a pirate under your skirt."

Seeing that their plan has been found out, Luffy immediately got out from under Hancock's skirt, entered gear second, and immediately knocked Hannyabal unconscious.

On the other hand, Domino was at the side holding a gun, she was about to shoot when hancock turned her into stone.

"What do we do now, luffy-kun?"

"we free these prisoners and run!"

The answer of luffy shocked hancock as these prisoners here are very dangerous, once released, there would be chaos in the world.

Betraying morality for love was her dilemma… never mind, morality was out of the question when she became a pirate so love it is.

She and luffy began releasing the prisoners, and together they went to break out of impel down.

Chief warden Magellan was quick to take action as he began suppressing the prisoners in level 6, spraying poison everywhere.

The reason why he is here and not in the toilet is a certain admiral has ordered that if hancock ask to enter impel down and visit ace, he must absolutely go out of the toilet and monitor the situation in level 6.

He chose a compromise and moved his toilet to level 6.

That leads to this situation, prisoners had already been let out and he began suppressing those prisoners.

Although luffy is quite shocked that Magellan is here but he still quickly ran to the stairs with hancock and left, leaving the prisoners to deal with Magellan.

The last obstacle they have to face before safely leaving impel down is the thousand elite marine soldiers under a certain admiral.

Maybe by sheer luck or the power of the protagonist halo, the two was barely able to avoid those marine elites patrolling the entire two floors.

On level 1, they beat up the guards that stop them as they quickly went to the Perfume Yuda and left for Marineford.

On the way there, luffy tried to convince hancock to go back to amazon lily and bring the remaining warriors there to fight in the war but maybe due to her last trace of reasoning, she refused.

Sacrificing the lives of her people for her love seems to selfish even for her.

So, only the Kuja pirates and herself will participate with luffy in the war.
