POV change for once

*cough*

My body flew backward and with my consciousness fading away I knew I lost again.

'You'll always be a failure, big brother,'

Even before Mareep used Thunder Step Beri's body reacted, replacing Quick Attack with Last Resort. By the time Last Resort has been used Mareep had already appeared in front of Beri like a flash of lightning. The collision of their bodies sent them both flying away, both landing on the ground fainted.

Meanwhile, a group of 4 stood together beside a tree, staring at the battlefield. Those 4 are Arbok, Persian, Alakazam, and Raticate.

"Unexpecting," Arbok said.

"The only decent fight ending in a draw," Persian sighed.

"There's still Pidgey vs Mankey," Alakazam states.

"Mankey doesn't stand a chance," Persian refutes.

"Since it's a draw, what are you doing to do?" Raticate asks.

"They both lose," Arbok replied, his body slithered back to the battlefield. "Final battle, Pidgey vs Mankey,"

As expected, Mankey stood no chance. Pidgey stayed in the air shooting out Flying type moves at Mankey and Mankey the angry Pokemon he was tanking them until he fainted, making Pidgey become the winner. Afterward, all masters and their pets gathered on the battlefield, where Pidgey and her master were rewarded.

"Alakazam here has a few words for you all," Arbok said allowing Alakazam to take the lead.

"Everyone please look at my spoons for a moment," Alakazam said raising his two hands in front of him, and began banging his two spoons together causing a wide range effect of Hypnosis.

There's always an oddball in the bunch, in this case, it was a lot. Medusa, Beri, emo Mareep, Berserker Mankey, and reincarnator Pidgey, they needed a bit more special care.

...

Location - unnamed Island, Johto.

3 individuals stood face to face on a beach. One is Kanto's Champion, Michael Oak the dragon master. Johto's Champion Fafnir Blackthorn, the dragon master and the underworld's boss of Kanto and Johto, Forseall Janus.

Michael Oak is a peaceful person by nature, who strives for the betterment of Kanto. He may not have been the best champion but he was certainly the most popular.

Fafnir Blackthorn was a proud and ambitious person who strives to dominate Kanto. Most consider him a tyrant, while some call him a villain.

Forseall Janus was a man who never studied the present, he was a person who always made sacrifices for a better future, Team Rocket's future.

"So why have you called us here for?" Michael asked. If they weren't in the war against Johto right now, this would've been the best chance to get rid of Forseall.

"What? you think I am not aware you all know," Forseall said. "Since you all know, I might as well give you all a slice of the pie. Team Rocket after all is too weak to challenge Kanto and Johto's authority,"

"Yeah right," Fafnir muttered. Forseall strength wasn't inferior to his nor that copycat's strength. This was also the main reason Team Rocket is still alive.

"If you haven't guessed it yet, the slice of pie I'm talking about is this island,"

"Then where are the Pokemons?" Michael asked. From their spies in Team Rocket they had learned that this island has birthed a Guardian level Pokemon, such an island wouldn't be so weak as to let outsiders enter easily.

"In the process of taming, we overestimated their strength," he replied. This told them that the Guardian Pokemon didn't originate from this island.

"So after taking most of the valuable resources you called us over?" Michael asked.

"The resources we got aren't anything unique sadly, so don't make it seems as if I'm giving you the scrapes,"

'So nothing better than advance grade. Well, that's expected, the birth of the guardian level Pokemon was only a year ago,' Michael thought. "Have you guessed what Pokemon it is yet?"

"The Ice Ghost Type Pokemon Froslass, most likely coming here to train. We believe it is the one that was born through the skirmish on Route 1."

"A lot of information you're giving us, don't tell me you're hoping we'll help you catch it?" Fafnir asked mockingly, he's not eager to rush towards death.

"Would you believe me if said I did it out of the last bit of goodwill in my heart?"

'No,' they thought.

"This kind of information you would've figured out on your own, don't think too much of it. I just wanted to turn this island into a youngling training ground for Kanto, Johto, and Team Rocket,"

"Alright, I'm listening," Michael said.

"It's simple really, I'm going to put young-rare-talented Pokemons into this island and after 4 months you both can bring trainers not older than 10 here for training. Please note their deaths have nothing to do with Team Rocket,"

"So you're giving them a much safer place to train?" Micheal asked. In here what the trainers would have to worry about most won't be Pokemons but other trainers.

Compared to sending them in the wild, here is safer and richer in resources. In the wild, you would have to worry about being attacked 24/7, but here the night is the safest as most trainers would be asleep by then. Let's not forget he stated young-rare-talented Pokemons, so they might come back with a reliable partner. Now there's one last problem.

"Froslass would turn them into decorations," Michael said helplessly. There's no point sending them there when they would certainly die.

"There's no need to worry about that, Froslass has turned the volcano there into a snow mountain and lives deep inside it. Unless they're foolish enough to enter, they should be somewhat safe,"

"Very assuring, you can expect Kanto's talents 4 months from now. I hope I don't need to explain what would happen if you intentionally endanger them," Michael spoke.

"Johto will be their... mainly to get rid of Kanto's talent," Fafnir replied, deal with Kanto then squash the parasitic worm, Team Rocket.

*sigh*

"There's no hatred between Kanto and Johto, why can't we make peace like Kalos and Galar? They haven't been in war for 3 millenniums."

"Only the weak will make compromises,"
