Bloodless Carnival, The King

We have safely entered the second stage of our journey. That didn't take too long, about 20 minutes since we entered. How much more stages have we got? Hopefully, 1 more until we find that ghost resource.

This biome wasn't as large as Snow Forest and was as big as the Arbok family's territory, aka Medusa's family.

Standing at the entrance we were a step away from falling off a cliff.

"So turn around?" Fluffs ask.

"No," "Nosss,"

"I thought you didn't want to come in here?" Fluffs ask.

"You thought wrong,"

Looking down to see a Banette getting swallowed into a Gengar's shadow, I questioned myself if it was the right thing to come here. Strictly speaking, we're under level.

What am I even thinking? Just like every other time, I'll walk through this danger and get my riches.

Based on Senken, below us should be a group of Pokemons, who are... fighting? All of them are within the Junior Elite, meaning 40s, and they are currently fighting it out.

Watching them fight each other to the death I wonder what's the point of this. If the goal was to hit level 50 killing each other likes this isn't really helping.

Why? Let's say a Pokemon in this battle royale hit level 49 but now is on the verge of fainting and level 42 came and best it. Just like that the battle starts over unless someone is lucky enough or fights smart enough. But clearly, these Pokemons lack the Poke and are just acting like monsters, they don't even look like they have a move in the Advance Stage.

"There's moresss," Medusa said.

Pokemons with levels below 20 are fighting in what I'll call a ghost spawn point. In that area in which I just saw a Duskull formed, there are over 200 of them in there.

Then there's another group with Pokemon ranging from the 20s to the 30s having over 100 Pokemon in there. So a lot of Pokemons in a blood carnival.

This is a pretty good place to jump levels, once we're done here, we should all enter Senior Elite and be forced to search for resources to boost our talents. Meaning, I'll be stuck as a Senior Elite for a really long while.

"Can we join?" I asked Snow. Don't want to get gangbang the minute we enter.

"How would I know? Did you forget my father said he never entered?" Snow asks haughtily.

No hesitation, no overconfidence, and no low speech issues.

"Are you Snow?" I asked, my gaze locked on her.

"Eek!" she shrieked frighten from my gaze.

*smack*

"behavesss," Medusa said.

"Behave this, behave that," I muttered barely audible.

*smack*

But of course, she heard, why wouldn't she hear? Screw chatting I will search for the Overlord using Senken.

"So make our own tunnel and evade the Pokemons below? Although I did like to level up I don't think I want to mess with those ghosts... see savage, that Shuppet killed a new borne Ghastly," Fluffs said.

"Goodsss, butsss, explorationsss," Medusa said hesitantly.

"Leader are you suicidal?..." Snow asks before quickly avoiding Medusa's gaze. "Eek! Sorry leader,"

"Master we are too weak to carry forward, let's fall back," Fluffs persuade.

"No," "No way," "Nosss," me, Snow, and Medusa refused.

"You too Snow? and here I thought you value your life," he said disappointed.

"Eh? I do value my life, my life is worth more than everyone else own here... besides leader," she replies before continuing quietly. "but since everyone's saying no, I thought I should do it too,"

Wait is that a...

"F*ck this sh*t, I'm out!" I shouted before taking the sky... and getting my body wrapped by Medusa's tail.

"What did you seesss," Medusa asked.

"What did I see? You can see it yourself," I said pointing my ears forward.

"A sword and shield? are you afraid of human tools?" Fluffs laughed.

"Ghostsss,"

"Who's that Pokemon?" Snow asks.

This was stupid of me, the level of danger here can't be compared to my former homeworld. Sure, there I can die in one shot, but back there my Instinct made me broken. Here, on the other hand, Instinct got nerfed and even in its full capability, it wouldn't let me beat a Pokemon more than tripling my level.

Why's a Senior champion Pokemon doing here?

*smack*

"Berisss, Pokemonsss,"

"Aegislash, a ghost steel type Pokemon," I answered.

"So a good bit of our moves aren't good against it," Fluffs thought.

"Give me 3 years and I might be able to beat that Senior Champion," If it's not a 1st grade Pokemon which surely should be.

[System estimates it to be about 8-10 years. If the host had a good talent and sufficient amounts of resources, the time can be 1-3 years]]

"Senior Champion?"

"What? Fluffs is processing," I joked.

"Processing your mother,"

"Motherf*cker!"

"That's what I am, I f*ck your mom,"

"Son of a..."

"What are you doing in this king's territory?" Aegislash said appearing before us.

Medusa quickly releases me and I flew above Snow ready to fight at any moment. Hold up, did he say, king?

"Adventuresss," I guess he does have that kingly presence.

"Provide this king with some interesting information and I'll consider letting you all adventure," Aegislash said wanting us to humor him.

"Interesting... want to learn how I became a servant of master?" Fluffs ask.

"Rejected,"

"The tale of my amazing parents," Snow asks excitedly.

"Rejected," Rejection was super effective, Snow is about to cry.

"About this islandsss,"

"Tempting, but I think I know the history better than you,"

"How about knowledge about world affairs?" I asked.

"You reek of envy," Aegislash said bluntly.

'You reek of envy, such a disgusting executioner isn't needed. You have been dismissed,'

"However, it's admirable you're using that said envy to grow stronger,"

"..."

"Many would simply get rid of the target of one's envy, but you're eyes tell me you wouldn't get rid of them,"

"Tsk, don't talk as if you know me, king," I said.

"You think you can fool this king? For someone like me, it's easy to read you like a book,"

So all that effort was worthless.

"Anyways, this doesn't matter. What matters now is whether or not you'll join me? A double edge sword is best used by this king,"
