Oh! He's Dead... Anyways

With a big bang boom, one would expect an explosion right?

That's why Daniel wasn't embarrassed in the slightest when he unhesitantly stacked barriers around him. After all, Mike had done it once so who knows if he desired to try it again. It's better safe than sorry.

As for Mike's body, it had... hmm, I supposed the right word here is destroyed. Destructive energy had coated his body to his soul, removing it from existence as if it was never there in the first place.

Quickly adding multiple thought-boosting abilities together. Daniel began to contemplate Mike's actions. He agreed perfectly with his decision to stop resisting as it was futile. However, he couldn't truly understand what led to his decision to self-destruct.

'Possibly to keep his memories?' But this question made no sense as he wouldn't exist so how could he keep his memories?

Recalling correctly, the method used to self-destruct is strange itself. He didn't say Destroy, nor had time to use it more manually. It was one of his abilities one of which he didn't use frequently in this battle.

Quick Change.

However, Destruction isn't a Type. Then again, it is not his ability and even the user may not fully understand their Gift. That's why creating your own ability is more practical, even if it's more difficult.

Assuming he did use Quick Change in an attempt to gain Destruction type what would occur is self-implosion as Destruction isn't a type. Maybe if it was another concept he might have gotten a Physique but Destruction? The energy is too destructive, without proper control over it it would only lead to one's self-destruction which occurred with Mike.

Then there's the question of how he used Quick Change, which should be impossible. Unless... he managed to promote Destruction to Low-Expert and use this newfound strength to destroy the restrictions on Quick Change.

Regardless, he accomplished what he came here to do. Killing Mike was just a side dish, and testing out his new strength was just a bonus.

'Seems like All Father won't survive the next war. Otherwise, he would have never prepared inheritors for those 2 powers,' Having nothing else left to review he teleports away, right in time to avoid the screams of rage from Gaia.

...

*cough*

"How bad's the situation, Leona?" Sparkacus asked.

"Great, as you can tell," Leona answers rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, real great, we are down to 7 Guardian Pokemons if not counting leader Medusa, aunt Risa, and Artic. Almost all Senior Champion died and everyone else hid away but there's still casualties around," Fiona states.

*sobs*

"Oh, and 2 Guardian are in despair," Fiona added seeing the pair of mother and daughter, Snow and Winter, crying.

"I guess, if things turn out fine we did have Ho-oh and dog trio on our side," Leona mutters.

"Argh! I need something to punch!" Sparkacus cried out as he began to walk forward. The feeling of being useless isn't something any of Mike's children can handle.

"No matter what battlefield you enter you'll die," Leona said.

"Don't worry, I'll give him something to do," Fluffs said, appearing in front of Sparkacus through Thunder Flash. "Survive,"

And like that, those 2 went into their own area to vent.

"Mother was wrong, we weren't needed at all," Fiona mutters, her thoughts entering a depressive place.

"Come on, you can't start getting depressed now. You are one of the few people here who can help out," Leona sighed, luckily Anderson (Aegislash) had taken a lot of work off her shoulders.

"I was born to become a powerful weapon for father. This was mother's words. I was born to help protect the things he loved. That was father's words. Now, I'm certain I can't do neither,"

"Father also wanted us to live our own lives," Leona explained. "Being depressed won't change anything,"

"It's far better than pretending everything's fine," Fiona mocked.

"Oh? Did something happen?" Leona asks curiously.

"Jumpluff D Leona, do you want to die!" Fiona growled.

"Fearow D Fiona, let's decide what we're going to do about the corpses,"

"Why bother asking when we're obviously going to give them a funeral," Fiona states.

"Ah what?" Leona asks dumbfoundedly.

The place quickly became quiet as multiple gazes stopped and glared at Leona.

"A F.U.N.E.R.A.L, ever heard of it?" Fiona asks.

"Of course I did, but here? Are you trying to get us killed?" Leona asks her, watching Fiona as if she's an idiot.

"And who's there to kill us for it? Both leader Medusa and aunt Risa would gladly agree with this," Fiona explains.

"You haven't caught on yet?" Fiona sighs disappointedly. "Father provided each one of us a part to follow, you as an assassin and I as an Analyst. Whenever mother was around she would help me get better at being one, and now I'm certain I could analyze even top Legendaries and Mythicals. Based on this, I can say with 100% certainty, father's not dead... or at least not permanently,"
