Sootopolis Collapses

Location: Sootopolis City, Hoenn

Welcome to the city of misfortune, the city that tends to carry all regional crises of Hoenn.

With one half suffering from a drought and another suffering from heavy rain, it didn't take long a minute before the fight had even begun for citizens to start retreating.

Unfortunately due to their location, there's nowhere to run.

This is why Sootopolis City had already been flattened an hour into the battle, if not for Groudon's existence there wouldn't have been any land left as the tide would've sunken the rest.

*roar*

Kyogre roars as it dived into the air, Sheer Cold+ gathered in its mouth ready to defeat Hoopa immediately. Easier said than done though, as the attack was quickly swallowed by his ring and redirected through another ring behind Groudon.

Sensing the coldness coming from behind him, Groudon raises its tail and slams it back down using Iron Tail, easily stopping Kyogre's attack.

"Should've died," Kyogre growled.

Which, as one can see, Kyogre is quite displeased about.

"F*ck you!" Groudon snapped, Precipice Blades burst from the ground in an attempt to stab Hoopa.

Meanwhile, Kyogre who was still moving toward Hoopa's mouth opened and released Origin Pulse.

The two may hate each other dearly, but they both know when and where they should go about biting each other's *ss.

"Weak!" Hoopa mocks using Light Screen+ block Origin Pulse, as for Precipice Blades, it wasn't parried or countered, but dodged by using Hyperspace Hole, teleporting behind Groudon and hoisting him towards Kyogre.

Colliding into Kyogre, two rings appeared below them, one firing out a Solar Beam+ while the other Thunder+. Collision with these two attacks sent them further in the air, which Hoopa quickly took advantage of and sent forth a highly compressed Hyper Beam+.

Hoopa Unbound is indeed something they cannot win against without their original form, which Hoopa perfectly prevented arriving here before they even knew there was energy here that could recover their true power and hid it.

They may not be able to win, but it doesn't mean that they'll lose either.

Groudon firmly grabs onto Kyogre's tail before throwing Kyogre towards Hoopa like a cannonball. Bursting through Hoopa's Hyper Beam+ with an Aqua Jet-like attack, Kyogre's body was firmly held by Hoopa's numerous hands before he managed to collide with him using Body Slam+.

[Blizzard+]

The rain quickly transformed into snow before becoming a freezing cold, rampaging Blizzard, eager to devour Hoopa whole.

"Hahaha," Hoopa was having the time of his life, he was killing two birds with one stone and they only knew of one of the two birds.

[Trickster's Room]

[Trickster's Room: Can use the effect of any 'Room' move or 'Swap' move inside]

The reason this move was called Trickster's Room is that the effects are almost useless against Hoopa's equals much less those stronger than him, to this group of Pokemon this move is nothing more than a prank, a trick.

For the current High-Divine Groudon and Kyogre, they have no way to counter this annoying ability. The same can't be said when they enter their Primal forms, in that form they could destroy it with their domains (Torrential Rain and Desolate Land).

[Hyperspace Hole]

Taking advantage of Trickster's Room, his ability, Magician, and Hyperspace Hole he can even use this area to teleport attacks. Although Hoopa's current limit is High-Divine, only their signature attacks can get past this combo.

And so he teleports Blizzard+ around Groudon before changing the Gravity+ around Kyogre to keep Kyogre from entering the ocean, further prevented with Psychic+.

[Skill Swap]

Skill Swap is by far the most difficult ability to use in battle. Pokemons at this stage could counter it by coating themselves in dark energy before it activates based on their sensitivity to energies.

Then unlike Trace, one can't choose the ability swap and the ability would always be from the 'Ability' section, meaning it's barely ever useful. For this case, though?

Hoopa simply made Kyogre's and Groudon's ability swap. Now Kyogre's cooking itself due to Drought and Groudon's sinking thanks to Rain Dance.

Though this is far from killing creatures made from their respective energies. Even if they do end up dying here after a couple of years they'll revive, if one destroys their soul a new Groudon/Kyogre would replace them.

These two are similar yet different from Zygarde, both are being born from the world itself. One is born from the world's high energy while the other is...

The fight ended a lot faster than most would expect, but this is expected when their opponent was not only a Psychic type but also a Dark type.

The two muscle heads were against an evil genius.

"Hahaha, Hoopa's strong!" With a burst of confident laughter, Hoopa knew regardless of whatever comeback they would soon make to escape they'll be captured again and defeated.

"Sorry, to burst your bubble," Daniel said appearing on top of Kyogre's head holding two orbs in hand, specifically a red and blue one.

"Impossible!" Although the Blue and Red Orb are far from being enough for a long-term battle, but with aid of Daniel, Hoopa's not sure how long he could last, and that's why he hid it to prevent this situation from happening.

"But this battle... has only just begun," With a confident smile the Blue Orb sunk into Kyogre's body causing it to shine, as for the Red Orb, it was already thrown towards Groudon.

"Idiot," Hoopa mocks, his ring had already intercepted it, the orb fell right in and appeared in Hoopa's hand.

*boom*

As Hoopa saw the Red Orb beginning to expand he quickly teleports high into the sky, escaping the explosion of Negative Flames.

"By the way, your hiding skills are definitely Iron grade. I bet even kids could've found it since you had hidden it in a playground," Daniel mocks before staring at the transformed Kyogre and Groudon.

"Isn't this a great reunion of friends, rivals, and exs?" Daniel explained.

"You can stick this sh*tty reunion up your *ss!" Groudon growled.

"For once, I agree with you," Kyogre adds.

"Hahaha, get a room," Hoopa encouraged them.

"Aren't that what they're in?" Daniel murmured loud enough for them to hear. "I think we should leave," Daniel added.

"Hoopa has always been a manchild when he fails his goals,"

***

Yep, I'm turning Groudon and Kyogre's battles into a lovers' quarrel. Got a problem with that? Ugly bastards staring at their devices for more than a third of the day.

By the way, they were born before Kalos created and used its nuke.
