The Pokemon Growth Theory, Necrozma's Shackles

Heh?

I'm... still alive?

[Pokemon: Cosmog

Level: 2

Racial Ability: Stored Power]

Being alive for an hour is rare, but I guess it's not surprising since I didn't get the signal of death.

...

Time - 1 hour ago.

I'm free!

The happiness I felt realizing I managed to survive before a disaster destroyed it was great. Now time to grow strong...

#DANGER#

Oh, sh*t!

...

Present time...

Dying so many times does make one forget there are bigger enemies than natural disasters.

Cosmos Awareness, together with my Pure Instincts: False allowed me to instinctively activate Teleport and with the energy from Stored Power, I had managed to temporarily escape from Celebi.

Although it's a bit surprising Celebi hasn't chased after me yet, I shouldn't let my guard down just yet, with his ability to see/scout the future, it shouldn't be long before he arrives to kill me.

In another life, this short hour he hasn't shown up would've been enough to grow strong quite strong, not strong enough to have a winning chance since I lack Origin, but you know. Better than nothing.

This life, however...

Stored Power is stealing all the energy I have been absorbing, thereby preventing me from leveling up automatically. As for fighting in this state?

The energy I have is not enough to use Destructive energy. My Destructive Core had long since dried out battling Celebi, and the Destructive energy in the atmosphere does rarely ever be enough to do actual damage.

With the additional knowledge that once I gather all the Destructive energy in the air to attack, I'm certain a weak Pokemon would show up to kill me.

[Currently, those 'weak' Pokemons can easily kill you. Especially when the 'weak' you're mentioning is Guardian and above Pokemons]

Uhuh... Even in this state, I can still kill them.

All I need to do is use the atmospheric Destructive energy to kill them.

[You're assuming, they aren't aware what that energy is and that they underestimate you]

True, but I'm weak at the moment. If they're completely WIld Pokemons, that may be a problem, but in this era?

Yeah, doubt there are powerful Pokemons left that lack interactions with humans.

Anyways, where am I?

[Route 1]

Wow, that's... unexpecting.

This place indeed felt familiar.

This should be the route itself and not entering the outskirts of it, the safe grounds.

So what should I do now? Reunite with my first siblings in this world, assuming some are still alive?

Or...

Start a genocide to level up rapidly?

Hmm... decisions, decisions.

"Hey!" Hearing a voice a distance behind me, I turn around curiously. A trainer's Pokemon should be at a more high level than others.

They shouldn't be as bad as my era-Blue?

"You're definitely, not from Kanto nor Johto," The teenage brat said smugly acting like a know it all.

Should I entertain him first before defeating his Pokemons and lastly kill him, or defeat his Pokemon and then kill him?

'What do you want?' I ask telepathically, clearly showing the hostility in my voice.

"Join my team,"

'Do you want a painful death or your loved one's a painful death? Decide quickly,' I said.

I think he's going to die either way, but might as well give him a chance right?

"Quite the proud Pokemon ain't you? Pity, no wasn't an answer," Blue announces confidently, with a snap of his finger his Blastoise appears beside him.

[Pokemon: Blastoise

Level: 100]

...huh?

This isn't op, but that's not.

#CAUTION#

Sensing the burst of power spreading from Blastoise's body, my eyes widen in shock.

How the f*ck does this thing already know Origin?

What is this brat feeding this thing? No, how is it possible for a slave to reach this level?

[You did be surprised]

No, someone's definitely, pulling the scenes from behind. Humans shouldn't be able to grow a Pokemon to this height.

A Blastoise, not even an Ancient, managed to break its limits enough to awaken Origin and this may not have taken a decade.

Even Medusa didn't grow this fast.

[System has said this before and will say it again]

[Pokemons in the right hands, in theory, can grow to greater heights in only a year]

[Pokemons were built for an extremely fast growth rate with the price of an almost unbreakable limit]

[This limit is what prevents Arceus and Necrozma from growing stronger, a limit Eternatus doesn't have]

So Necrozma's reason for destroying this world...

[Is to absorb the Universe Core, the chains that would restrict her limit even if she leaves this Universe]

"Alright, now let's ask this again," Blue said a Master ball in hand. "Join willingly or forcefully, pick your pick,"

'Ha, what an idiot. I'm an enemy of the world, do you still want a Pokemon like me on your side?' I ask trying to scare him off.

"So what? I'm Blue Oak, the best of the best,"

...

"Repeat," Arceus frowns.

"Lost track," Progenitor Celebi said.

Lost track of Mike shouldn't be possible for Progenitor Celebi.

"The Original Timeline branch has no more similar timelines to it, this timeline had already gone down an unexplored part," Celebi announced.

"A bit earlier than expected," Arceus said. "What's the caused?"

"Fate,"

"Fate," Arceus muttered. "Fate..."

Arceus recalls a couple of years back when he had noticed a slight change in fate and called Progenitor Victini to know more.

'A desperate soul that desires to live,' Victini had said emotionally.

This is why Arceus had been searching for the Pokemon that influenced fate. A slight change in fate can cause unfavorable impacts like this.

Luckily, the war is about to start anyways, and judging by the speed at which Mike had grown so far, there's no way he's awakening Origin in time to be anything useful by the time it ends.

This war after all would end quickly.

It may not even last a day if things go as planned.

And from how things are looking, it might just start and end by the end of the month.

20 days from now.

***

A lot of things had changed in this story, but the core part hasn't and that's enough.

The question now is if that slight change in fate would bring about a stronger Butterfly effect.
