Countdown Part 1

Location - Deep underneath America

In an isolated room, made from multiple anti-sense based runes and filled with numerous sci-fi machines were...

"I'M HORNY!" The perverted tentacle Pokemon of Fertility shrieks.

"Pokemon Shub, I'll be finished here soon," And Colress the human scientist Mike obtained.

"You have been saying that forever," She complained.

"And you have been saying that since we've arrived," he replies.

They have been the only 2 here for years now, and their relationship has gotten much closer.

"That's because I'm horny," she repeats.

"Alright, I'll take a break soon, so that we can procreate without fertilization,"

"I'm fed up with non-impregnating sex," Gaia said. Her lust is a part of her desire to impregnate life, without the impregnating such sex is pointless. "And besides, you're a letdown in bed,"

*twitch*

It's not his fault he lacks the appropriate amount of sexual appendages needed to satisfy her. If he had a choice he would prefer extra arms, that did speed up this project that would normally need hundreds of individuals to finish, assuming they started without any of the resources (knowledge) Mike had provided.

With that resource, 10 people would still not have completed this as quickly as he.

"Give me a few more days," Colress said. "A week," he corrected.

"Ahhh, what should I do then? It's not like I can impregnate myself," Gaia cried out. Mike had already told her back then, she couldn't leave without Colress.

From a degenerate to a bodyguard.

"Pity there did never be a second Shub..." Colress sighed.

I suppose this was Arceus' foresight at play, two Shubs would make innumerable amounts of them. Overpopulation would be an understatement if one left 2 Shubs in a room by themselves.

Shub's fate would've been worst than Tiamat's assuming a possibility like this ever occurred.

Shaking his head away from such thoughts, Colress resumed his work.

'If all things go smoothly, I can resume Project: Limit Break next week,'

Even if what he's currently making could possibly change the tides of this incoming war. Colress did still prefer working hard on pushing Pokemon's potential to its limit.

...

Location - Viridian Forest

"You need to awaken Origin quickly," Marshadow said as she looks at Pokemon 'Pink'.

Not surprisingly, a simple plea was all it took for the 2 Pinks to want to lend a hand. Sadly, both of their mates had a brain and took this as a chance to help them achieve Origin.

Luckily, none of them had managed to break their limit. So instead they did be trained by Lazuli who's more acquainted with the group while she handles the Pokemon they came here for.

'Pink' is the ideal replacement, someone she can use to swap not just Daniel but also Risa out of their current fates.

Of course, she doesn't give a sh*t about Risa. However, seeing as she's Daniel's child, she did let her live... for now.

Then why is she helping 'Pink' in her search to awaken Origin? Time.

Time is far too short for her to accomplish this, and fools like them are more than willing to sacrifice their life for others.

'Hehe, Daniel has better reward me well for this,' Marshadow thought, Daniel despite how much he may have gotten angry shouldn't have given up yet, and she may be just what he needs for some breathing space.

Speaking of the devil...

...

Remaining days - 16

'This won't do...' Daniel muttered.

After multiple intentionally discernable actions to get Arceus to consider him his successor failed. Daniel knew Arceus has already decided to keep his as the 'honorable' sacrifice and more than ever, Daniel believes it was because of his personality.

'Arceus had wanted each inheritor to love the world. He may even consider my sacrifice truly to be 'honorable',' Daniel thought. 'If death's so honorable, why doesn't he do it?' he spat.

Does Arceus think he's the only person that can contribute to the world? Please, he's currently helping Necrozma who wants to destroy it, not to mention the Universe Spirit.

As for him, Daniel? There's never been a time he didn't desire to protect the world.

He even intended to allow the Universe Spirit to refuse with the Universe Core... before eventually destroying all the emotions it had gained from reincarnating for so many years.

A lot better than Arceus who straight up obliterate it, not wanting to allow the possibility that those memories can restore the emotions lost.

I suppose for Arceus, luck isn't a factor he desires. Only cold and certain facts.

'Leave this matter to Marshadow then,' Daniel thought.

Marshadow has and always will be the most reliable tool girl he has, even if she's no longer his strongest piece (now Lazuli). As for someone who has been with him for more than half his life, Marshadow has the best understanding of his personality.

May have even awakened Origin for him easily if it was possible.

There are 2 possible outcomes for what she'll do to rescue him. Find 2 replacements for him and his daughter, with his current relationship with Arceus, as long as the replacements are good enough he should let him free. Assuming they meet that requirement.

Or she did go for that Pokemon 'Pink'. Someone he cares no sh*t about and is suitable to hold both positions at once.

The only problem is, they did be around them.

'Whatever, they chose to sign the papers of death,'

Wanting to help? Please, the little information Arceus has spilled to him was pretty big to him, together with a few signs. Daniel can guess that few would get to come out of this war alive.

Assuming Arceus wins.

Well, with Daniel temporarily on Arceus' side. the only actual person who cares about this world, victory is certain.

I was expecting this volume to be short, but still...
