Clash Of Gods Part 7 - Checkmate

*SCREECH*

Was the sound of Eternatus' Dragon Claw failing to penetrate Arceus' barrier?

Sadly, that didn't last long.

*shatter"

All Eternatus had needed to do was pump more Origin energy into his attack to break the barrier made from the combination of numerous runes embedded in the world.

Arceus quickly used those same runes to teleport out of harm's way but instead came into the jaws of a tiger.

Necrozma had appeared right where he arrived with her sword coming down to bisect the two.

#Eternabeam#

Necrozma quickly halts her attack and quickly scatters into the light to avoid Eternatus' attack. Similarly, Arceus chooses to teleport again.

Eternatus' current Eternabeam is far weaker than his peak strength, even being weaker than the Ultimate Weapon's attack previously fired. Despite, this it's still strong enough to wipe them both out.

'Delaying us?' Arceus quickly saw through Eternatus intentions. As for why he's delaying them?

Possibly to recover as close to his peak as possible.

Eternamax form isn't his true form it's not even 20% of it. However, unless Eternatus leaves this universe it's impossible to gather enough energy to recover.

Reinforcements?

There's not anyone left who isn't participating in this fight right?

There's Rayquaza but the radiation she suffered while fighting Necrozma is currently eating her up. She'll survive but she wouldn't be able to participate either.

Mike, MISSINGNO...

Mike doesn't matter as he hasn't awakened Origin. MISSINGNO not appearing means it's either protecting Mike or it's hoping to ambush them with that ridiculous physique of its.

Being an ERROR makes ambushes impossible for it.

Either way, their plans at delaying had a better effect on Arceus than it would have for them.

Groudon and Kyogre had finally awakened Origin.

Their species should've gotten it easy, due to their personalities which are normally fixed. Unfortunately, Xerneas had tried to end their hatred which brought about conflicting thoughts that delayed their Origin awakening.

The Space-Time Plate shone as it teleported the duo in front of Leona, forcing the duo to fight.

#Runes of Amplification#

#Stars of Judgement#

#Runes of Multiplication#

Stars of Judgement began to shoot toward the duo, the amount alone should be able to delay them or even outright kill Necrozma if she lets one slip past her shield.

As for Eternatus, he can block and destroy those that come his way and the injuries brought by them aren't heavy. Given enough time, even with all the Heal-blocks in Arceus' attack, he'll quickly heal from this.

With Eternatus and Necrozma focusing on this, Arceus quickly arrived before 'Pink' and without any consideration gives her the 2 inheritances.

"Now, fulfill your duty,"

Whether one has or does not have Origin means nothing to Arceus if you're not strong enough.

After all, once one accepts his inheritance they longer have control over their life.

Her accepting it willingly can only sum as utter stupidity or the willingness the sacrifice herself for the greater good and that smile on her face said it all.

"Inheritors' Gift To The Greatest One," Arceus chants.

Runes shone on 'Pink's' body as the Positive and Negative energy in her siphoned into a ball.

As this goes on, 'Pink's' life flashes through her eyes as she continues to smile despite the unimaginable pain she feels.

Based on the happiness she can feel from Arceus, this must mean her actions here were beneficial.

'Hopefully, my death lead to the end of this war,' 'Pink' wished.

With the last bit of Positive and Negative energy pulled out, 'Pink's' life ended with her crumbling into nothingness, the only mark left of her being the ball of energy before Arceus.

A Pokemon born from the human body of Pink with her soul being almost identical including her memories before death.

An attempt at reviving the real Pink brought her into existence, a mistake quickly noticed by her creator (Giratina) yet never mentioned it to whom her memories love.

And thanks to those memories she ended up loving him too and later he even accepted her for what she was.

With her thoughts being similar to Pink, she was prone to make mistakes and help others, the biggest difference was that she was a bit more selfish than the original.

Yet here she was content with her sacrifice. Abandoning everything she hold dare and those who thought the same all for the sake of peace.

"Your death wasn't in vain," Arceus comforted. Even if it's a bit too late since even her soul has been destroyed Arceus felt the need to say this.

#Words of God#

"Craft Soul Plate,"

...

Location - ???'s Pocket Dimension, Mike's Location

A Pocket Dimension with numerous Time Distillation effects within it. All so that the person within it can finish their goal as quickly as conceivably possible, but even then, this person's personality makes it easy.

Not when one is attempting to awaken Origin that is.

3 Pokemons teleported right in curiously. Progenitor Victini, Progenitor Celebi, and Omega (Mew).

"So, where's the fate changer? All I see is an evil creature more unholy than Necrozma," Omega asks.

"Unova's Jiri said it's somewhere here...." Celebi said thoughtfully. "Is it him?" Celebi asks pointing at Mike.

"No, Arceus would've known long ago if it was him," Omega shakes his head.

"It's here though..." Victini mutters.

"It's only us and it here," Omega said. "So possibly the sentient ability hiding inside him that Arceus mentioned. In that case, we'll kill them both,"

"Yeah, that's not happening," Teleporting in front of Mike was Tatsumaki, her hands stretched out to defend Mike.

"Another strong human? No, it's the child of that thing, so nothing threatening," Omega thought.

Due to Mike's current situation, his Instincts couldn't even warn him of #DEATH# that was approaching him silently.

...

The Soul Plate.

A guaranteed victory trump card for those unprepared and even if one's prepared there's little they can do if their soul's not strong enough to resist this.

#Insanity Domain#

The Soul Plate shone ominously as both the Origin Plane and Ultra Space dispersed leaving the Spiritual Plane to fully cover the battlefield.

"WHAT IS THIS!" Necrozma and Eternatus shout feeling Negative enshroud their body.

"Think of this as an AOE version of Puppeteer but more about making one lose their rationality can controlling them," Arceus explains. "Losing your rationality against me would only lead to your death, game over,"

*ROAR*

The first to end up losing their rationality was Necrozma, no longer could she think properly and use attacks as she besieged Eternatus. Her in this state isn't much worst than Giratina, with a few stronger attacks.

#Judgement of the Cursed Soul#

Spiritual energy gathered high above the battlefield, enough so to strike down and obliterate Necrozma. As for Eternatus, his soul is as expected too strong for Insanity to affect him.

This fight is over.

But then... the fire nation attacked.

So this arc ends next chapter or the chapter after (excluding the epilogue).
