Chapter 8: Major Accounts

Although he thought that Konoha was a good place to go, however, after seeing Tsunade's expression, Cale understood in his heart.

She was trying to tie him to Konoha.

That was not okay.

There were a lot of rich people in Konoha, but there were also a lot of rich people in the rest of the world, most importantly.

Being a mysterious businessman, he couldn't give the illusion that he would be restricted to just one village.

"If Miss Tsunade is willing to introduce me to more customers, then naturally it would be great."

Cale said with a light smile, "Through the badge, I can be contacted anytime and anywhere, and if a customer wants to buy a jar, then I will be there at the first opportunity."

"There's no need to go through all that trouble, you'll just follow me."

Tsunade wrapped her arms around her chest, her tone unquestioning and dominant. She wasn't letting go.

"That I am afraid would not be possible."

Cale's smile remained unchanged as he stood up, "I have many more guests, so, Miss Tsunade, this is goodbye."

After a graceful curtsy, before Tsunade could even react, with a light bang, Cale disappeared like a phantom.

A short-range phantom shift worth seven hundred trade points.

"Tsunade-sama!" Shizune couldn't help but exclaim.

"Space jutsu?"

Tsunade frowned tightly, but quickly shook her head in self-denial, "No, it doesn't look like that."

As the granddaughter of the first Hokage, she had naturally seen the spatial teleportation jutsu, the Flying Thunder God technique, developed by her second grandfather.

But the way it just looked, it was completely different.

'Otherworldly space technique?'

Tsunade pondered for a moment before jerking to her feet.

"Shizune, let's go back to Konoha."

The Third Generation Hokage had to be informed about the otherworldly merchant as soon as possible, and the money to open up the resurrection had to be gathered as soon as possible.

Tsunade, who had been away for decades, was, for the first time, determined to return to Konoha.

What different follow-ups this would trigger had nothing to do with Cale, who was now, wandering around in the middle of this small city.

"It looks rather peaceful."

He couldn't help but comment at the calm.

It felt like walking through some studio town, it had been rare to see towns with short houses like this one in Cale's original world.

"So, what's next to do?"

Cale casually bought a chicken leg, leaning against some wall, held it in his hand and gnawed on it.

Looking at the few pedestrians in the street, suddenly, a stronger feeling of loneliness came over him.

In a different and foreign world, he was all alone.

With his mind immersed in the system, he had originally tried to find the "Return to Earth" purchase option the first time he realized he had crossed over but… he failed to find it.

Though, there was still some minor hope…

"… Forget it, it's useless to think about it more."

Cale finished the chicken leg in his hand quickly and wiped his mouth,

"How much does it take to customize an identity finder service, well, so a town only needs more than one thousand three hundred? Then let's find the richest one ...."

In the Naruto world, the most powerful must be the ninja. But that was not necessarily the case for the richest.

Ninjas do not work in production and are far less numerous than ordinary people, and the world is still, in name, ultimately run by ordinary people, merchants, nobles — people who may not have less money in their hands than ninjas.

---

In the town, the highest ranking, and richest head of the Kitahara family, Yuuki Kitahara, was enjoying a dinner party at the moment.

He was in his fifties, very old and haggard.

His face was full of wrinkles, but there was a natural majesty to it, which perhaps came from the fine clothing, or perhaps from the possession of possessions and power in the hands.

Suddenly, there was a soft bang and a man, out of nowhere, appeared in front of him.

"Who are you?"

Several figures rushed over in an instant. Those were the shinobi that the Kitahara family fed, basically their subordinates.

Cale didn't panic in the slightest, he just said silently in his mind.

"Redeem, mirror space."

In a flash, an arcane atmosphere quickly spread, and an invisible barrier that enveloped him and the Kitahara family .

It was the magic from within Dr. Strange, which cost Cale two thousand trade points to open, and it could be used for a ten minute duration.

Despite the short duration. the effect was excellent.

The ninjas outside the barrier stopped abruptly.

One wore an expression of astonishment and looked around as if they had seen nothing, even though they were clearly close at hand.

Such a turn of events caused Yuuki Kitahara to jerk to his feet, his eyes widening, his two sons even more so, trembling and backing away, one shouting, the other at least knowing to stand in his father's way.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. Gentlemen."

Cale had changed into a neat tuxedo, holding a small and delicate round staff in his hand, and was now smiling lightly, greeting the father and son before him, who, of course, were flabbergasted.

"What's going on here?"

"Did you do this?"

"Who are you and what are you going to do!?"

Shouts of astonishment from the two sons echoed in the sepersted space.

Although Yuuki Kitahara didn't open his mouth, his taut body and slightly trembling palms showed that he was frightened by the bizarre sight.

The shinobi outside, even the confessor who was supposedly a Shinobi, seemed to notice nothing, and surprisingly left a few moments later.

He was not sure how the man in front of him did it, but there was no doubt about it. This was someone he couldn't fight against.

"Please allow me to introduce myself."

Cale gracefully bowed with a hand on his chest, "I am a merchant, a merchant who sells special goods."

With the cane in his hand, he gave it a flick.

Ten small jars, placed silently in front of them.

"I think…you might be interested in my wares, Mr. Kitahara."

The corners of Cale's mouth curled into a smile.

"A merchant?"

Kitahara repeated under his breath and looked at the clay pots, his heart settling a little. As long as they were asking for money, then it wasn't the worst situation.

"These are not ordinary clay jars."

As if Cale knew what he was thinking, he said slowly with a smile on his face, "For countless years, we have walked in countless worlds, selling people magical jars with all kinds of incredible miracles inside, and if the guests are favored by luck, they can even gain immortality, great power, and endless power from them, so, Mr. Kitahara, would you like to try a set first?"

At Cale's words, Kitahara had some difficulty understanding them. But, the way things were going, he didn't seem to have the power to refuse.

Trying to speak, he was interrupted by Cale.

"Don't worry. Your money is all ready to go."

As if he knew what he was going to say in advance, Cale waved his scepter again, and stacks of coins, even containing gold and silver treasures, all appeared in it.

All of this, it was the Kitahara family's money, belonging to this Kitahara family head in front of him.

Customized services that consumed 5,000 transaction points.

Yuuki Kitahara took a deep breath, he even saw the ring left behind by his mother in it, treasured in the most secretive part of the room.

It was such a mysterious and unpredictable process that even he, who had close ties with the shinobi, had never heard of.

But with such means available to the merchant in front of him, why would he not just rob him? That would certainly be way les troublesome.

"We will only complete transactions that are sincere."

Cale smiled, and with a wave of his hand, another meditation spell descended, "So, guests need not worry at all."

His heart, at this point, was also overwhelmed with excitement.

This Kitahara family, there were over ten million trade points in their possessions!

Not bad for all the money he's invested! Before he had even started trading, he spent almost 10,000 just on pretending!
