>Chapter 34<

"…And this will be your classroom." Instructor Vernal finished his sentence.

The whole crowd of people, class 1-A, was now standing in front of a classroom after a long walk throughput the whole underground school part. They toured the whole academy and now it was almost evening, somewhere around 6pm.

During their walk, they met other classes as well, but the teachers acted as if they hadn't even seen the other party and just continued walking. The students were confused at this weird behavior, but they quickly forgot about it, since they had to pay attention to where they were going. After all, this underground complex was quite huge and it wouldn't be a good idea not to remember all the routes.

On the other hand, our group of boys was just quietly relaxing in the back of the group the whole time. Why? Because they already had the map of the academy underground that Caedis gave them a few days back, so they weren't worried in the least… is what they wanted to say, but they remembered when Caedis told them not to take everything as if it was a game, so they actually listened to every single one of Instructor Vernal's words and tried to, almost literally, beat them into their brain.

Instructor Vernal opened the sliding door to the classroom and every one of the students walked inside. The insides of the classroom were all white with wooden tables and chairs. The student seats were formed in a semi-circle shape with the teacher's desk being in the middle with a green wall behind it.

"Sit down, I will tell you all the important information you need to know before you can go to your dorm rooms." Instructor Vernal commanded and all the students did as he said.

All the desks were connected with each other and the classroom wasn't that big either, so all the seats were occupied in a matter of seconds. It seems as if everyone has their own group of friends that they knew from before. Our group decided to sit in the back corner, all next to each other.

The muscle-head guy is seated next to some questionable students, them having weird smiles and an expression of a king.

Those guys look like trouble, the boys thought.

"Let's start then…" Instructor Vernal then started saying all the important rules, sometimes writing on the green board behind him with magic particles forming words.

After almost an hour of boring talks, Instructor Vernal finally stopped his monologue and looked at the students before asking.

"Any questions?"

The students were quiet. Almost every question they had in their mind was washed away when they saw Instructor Vernal's expression. It was like he was saying, "Do you dare to ask?"

Seeing that no one was saying anything, Instructor Vernal smiled lightly and said.

"Now that we are done, you are free to go and settle in your rooms. Classes will begin the day after tomorrow."

Soon after, the class dispersed. The boys were now standing in front of their two rooms. The instructor said that it will be three people per room. They saw a three of their name next to one door. David, Jacob and Patrick were in one room, while Phillip and Timothy shared a room with a guy named Frederick.

The two boys, Phil and Tim, entered their rooms and saw that somebody was already inside. He had a lean build, silver hair that glittered under the weak evening sunlight with shining green eyes. Our boys remembered him. The whole time they were wondering around the school he was the center of attention. The girls and boys alike all wanted to talk to him and treated him as if he was some god, but he always ignored them. If they annoyed him too much, he would just give them a cold stare that sent shiver up the spine of everybody who tried to talk to him.

"Hello there," Frederick greeted them with a smile. "My name is Frederick Libidine Ater. I hope we have a nice stay together."

Phillip and Tim were both quite shocked. It wasn't as if they didn't hear this family name before. Even though Caedis never told them anything, he did tell them that his brother was the king and his name was Edgar Libidine Ater. But he never said that his brother had a fricking kid!

"My name is Timothy Mundestruet."

"My name is Phillip Mundestruet."

The boys introduce themselves and bowed very slightly. Even though this was all very new to them, also very weird, they had to show that they knew who he was and show him at least a little bit of respect.

"I heard about you from my father." He nodded at their greeting. "He said that you guys are very talented. I am looking forward to our friendship."

He held out his hand, asking for a handshake. The boys had no way of refusing his "request", if you could call it that. With their only option left, they shook his hand with awkward smiles on their faces.

(Do you think they put us in the same room intentionally?) Timothy asked using telepathy.

(Most likely, but we can't be sure about their intentions yet.) Phillip answered.

(I think it doesn't really matter as long as it isn't detrimental to us.) Tim said, still maintaining his smile on the outside.

(Agreed) Phillip replied.

"Well then, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to rest for today. I'm quite tired after the long day of walking." Frederick walked to the bed he picked and laid on it.

The room was as big as one of the castle room. Comparable to the very first one they were in, so there was a lot of space between all of the beds.

The boys just watched as the prince went to sleep before deciding to do the same. They had nothing to do and if the other guys wanted to do something then they would contact them. It was still only around 7pm, but the sleep they were getting nowadays was scarce, so they decided to make up for the lost sleep.

Soon, only silent snores echoed throughout the room as all three of them quickly fell asleep…
