Midnight stated that the 42 students at the top have earned the right to advance while the other students fail to advance. Midnight announced the second event of the Sports Festival: The Cavalry Battle. The top 42 students each form a team of 2-4 for this event and earn points by grabbing headbands from the other teams. The number of points each student is worth is dependent on their placement in the Obstacle Race.
However, Ichika, who placed 1st, is an exception to the points rule and is instead worth 10 million points, which didn't surprised him cause he already expected it.
Midnight explained that the time for the Cavalry Battle is 15 minutes and that the point value of each team will be the total accumulation of each of the headbands taken. Midnight said the one to wears the total point accumulated headband will be the rider. Midnight continued to explain that the headband can only be worn around the head or the neck, and that if a team crumbles or loses a headband, that team is not out of the game. Midnight said that Quirks can be used but cannot be used for malicious aim. Midnight ordered the students to begin team negotiations and have 15 minutes to team up.
"Just as expected, it's just the four of us together."
Ichika formed a group with his class which are Roboco, Shinso and Himiko. He took off all of his weights then he rides on top, wearing the headband on his head.
Fifteen minutes have passed and Midnight announced that the Cavalry Battle will begin soon.
The Cavalry Battle commenced with many teams targeting his team.
"Bring it on everyone! We'll not move from this place as handicap and feel free to steal this headband from me! If you can!"
"Ichika-kun!"
"Yagi!"
Team Tetsutetsu tried to attack him but they were shocked by the speed of his hand.
*Swoosh!*
"Don't forget that I'm not wearing any weights right now.
In Ichika's hand was their headband being taken away instead.
"Huh? Since when?"
More teams tried to attack him but all of their headbands was taken away which hesitated the other team and changed their plans.
Shoto noticed that Bakugou was avoiding Ichika and he targeted different team. He did the same thing and faced another team.
Midoriya's team was targeted instead while Ichika was ignored because of his nullifying ability and speed.
After the Cavalry Battle ends, the first four teams advance to the final event of the Sports Festival which are Team Yagi taking the first place, Team Todoroki as second and Team Bakugou placing third. Izuku apologized to her teammates for losing her headband to Shoto, however, Fumikage revealed he grabbed a 615-point headband during Izuku's fight with Shoto, putting Team Midoriya at fourth place, allowing them to advance, much to Izuku's joy as her eyes explode with tears.
After the Cavalry Battle ended, the Sports Festival takes a noonday break.
Ichika went to the Class 1-B and called Kendo and her fellow residents for lunch.
"Kendo--"
"Sorry, Ichika-kun! I promised to eat with my friends today." Kendo refused.
"What about Yui and Reiko? Are you eating with your friends too?"
"Yes."
Reiko answered and Yui silently nodded with her.
"I see... that's unfortunate. I already prepared something for everyone."
Their classmates looks surprised when Ichika just casually called them with their first name basis.
"He was inviting you guys. Why refuse?" Setsuna asked Kendo.
Kendo just smiled and responded,
"It's fine, we always eat breakfast and dinner together. He's a good cook, right? Reiko? Yui?"
Reiko and Yui agreed with her which confused their classmates more.
Setsuna felt something suspicious then she followed to them.
"Breakfast and Dinner? You guys sounds like, you're living near his house and visits his home frequently."
"Not really, we just live together at the same dormitory as him which he owns."
Reiko and Yui nodded with her which shocks their classmates.
"What?!!"
Ichika went to visit Class 1-A next and he invited Toru, Kyouka and Momo for lunch.
"Sorry, Ichika. It seems like Toru can't face you right now after getting eliminated from the second event. We'll try our best cheer her up for now so..."
"I understand. I leave her to the two of you but just a reminder from me today, don't be get trick, okay?"
"Huh? Hey, what do you mean by that, Ichika?"
Ichika waved his hand as he walked away without explaining further. He returned to his own class but Roboco and Himiko was nowhere to be found. He spoke with Shinso but he wants to be alone.
"Eh..."
He has no companion to eat together.
"I guess I have no other choice."
His body bursted into flames and he transform into adult form which was Captain Falcon.
"I'll hang out with my fellow Pro Heroes."
He took off his helmet and he noticed that the audience in the stadium saw his transformation and they were shocked, seeing him in that form without a helmet.
"Well, like I care. Everyone knows already my identity."
He saw Midnight walking out of the stadium and he went towards her.
"Midnight!"
"Huh?"
When she turned towards him, her eyes widened and she was surprised seeing Captain Falcon without a helmet.
"Captain Falcon?"
"What's wrong? Of course, it's me."
"Why are you in that form? Sports Festival hasn't ended yet. You still have participate in the final event."
"I'm alone right now and I would like to invite you to eat with me."
"What about your friends? Aren't you always with someone from your class?"
"They're fire up about sports festival and everyone is still competitive with each other.
"Haha! That's youth--Wait! What about you?"
"Well, I'm not really interested in the event but I'm having fun."
"You don't sound young to me. I don't understand what age really are you."
"I'm a bonafide 16 years old. It just that I experienced a lot of hardship just to survive in this world."
Ichika stared deeply into her eyes.
"Okay, okay! Please stop staring at me like that!"
Midnight pushed away his face.
"Then wanna have lunch with me?"
"Fine..."
The two of them eat lunch together at the Cafeteria.
While they're eating together, Thirteen approached their table while carrying a meal set on a tray.
"Can I join you guys?"
"Sure."
Midnight smiled and agreed.
Ichika was staring at her direction which made her uncomfortable.
"Uhmm..."
"I thought you were a guy but when I saw your profile at my office in the commission, you're actually a female."
"Oh, I see."
Thirteen opened her helmet and showed her real face to him which surprised Ichika. She was a young woman with short, navy blue colored hair, as well as blonde colored hair at the top, simulating a spiral. She has hazel colored irises which have rings around them, resembling the first concepts given to depict black holes.
"My real name is Kurose Anan and I'm Space Hero: Thirteen. Nice to meet you again, Captain Falcon. I was really amaze on how you defeated the villains that infiltrated USJ. I glad that no one got hurt on our side during that incident."
"If you found a strong oppone--Villain, you have to call me quickly. Hehehe..."
"Okay!"
Midnight was looking at him with squinted eyes then she muttered.
"Falcon, you wreck a havoc in that incident. You overdid it."
Ichika looked away.
