CHAP 2

It's the year 20XX and I'm right now pouting while getting my head bandaged. Quick recap on what happened, I was chased by a group of zombies which I took out and then this hottie named Val found me and brought me to his group. Anyways, someone knocked me out unconscious and no one is owning up to it. "Are you feeling any discomfort?" Vic or Victoria who is apparently Val's twin sister I got introduced to after waking up asked while bandaging my head.

"I mean I just got hit in the head with that frying pan so I couldn't be better right?" I said sarcastically while pointing at the used weapon. Val was standing in front of three guilty looking people who had their heads down and one Ria who was facing against the wall in timeout. "Who did it?" Val asked sternly and the three still stayed silent. "I think it was Ros," Ria spoke up while still facing the wall but Val's glare shut her up.

"Hey Val, don't worry about it. I'm alright and whoever did it is probably already regretting it." I said while standing up and giving the three a smile which made them shiver. One of them immediately stood up and started apologizing. "It was me, I'm sorry. Please forgive me, I thought it was an attack and didn't think it through." The guy was instantly sent to the wall to accompany Ria.

"Anyways, I should introduce you to the gang. That's Victoria, my twin sister who I can assume you are acquainted with already." Victoria waved at me with a warm smile. She looked practically identical to Val but her hair was longer while Val's was shoulder length. She also had amber eyes and dimples. Val then pointed to Ria. "That's Aria, the one who welcomed you by almost killing you."

"Best welcome I've gotten throughout my life," I joked and the twins laughed with me. "The guy sitting beside Aria is Alex." This guy has curly black hair and brown eyes from what I noticed earlier. He also had a huge scar on his face. "This is Roshelle, she can't hear you but she can read your lips." He pointed at Roshelle who had red auburn hair and grey eyes. She waved politely and I waved back.

"Last but not least, Joel. Prankster but great to talk to." Joel nodded his head and I waved at him. Unlike the others Joel had dyed hair which was blue and he had heterochromic eyes, one brown and the other blue. "Guys this is Adrino, I found him while I was out. Chased by a group of zombies but he took them all down. He's staying with us from now on. Any objections?" Val introduced and I just scratched my head.

No one objected and everyone seemed cool with it. Roshelle held up a notepad which said "Welcome" with a big smiley face beside it. I smiled happily and thanked her. "When can we get away from this dingy wall? Valentino," Ria whined while stretching his name out. "You're full name is Valentino?" I asked out of curiosity. He looked down at me and nodded. "Ria and Lex, you're both stuck there for another twenty."

He then turned to Rosh and signed something to her. She nodded her head and got up. "Vic, Joe, follow her." He commanded and then sat on a nearby bench. "Sit with me," He patted on the empty spot next to him. I quietly sat down beside him and watched as the three left the building, each with a backpack and some kind of weapon. "What did you tell Rosh?" I asked my eyes now on the two who were sitting in front of the wall.

"Supply run, we need some clothes for you and more food. We're low on stock this month. Here eat this," He handed me a small bag of dried fruit. "Thank you," I took the bad and happily ate some. "So will you tell me how you got until here, I know you're not from anywhere near here." Val asked while opening up his own pack of dried fruit. "It's a long story," I scratched my hair and he just smiled. "We got time."

"Well I was with my own group but a group of zombies broke into our place and we got separated. I found an old bike and rode away from there, was forced to actually. They wanted me to leave, the bike broke down and I started running that's when you found me I guess." I finished and popped a few dried blueberries in my mouth. "You must be exhausted," Val's smile fell for a sec but it was back again. "I am slightly but I'm alright," I mumbled. "Yo can we have any of those?" Alex asked with big eyes which made me chuckle.

"Here," Val threw two small bags at them which hit Alex in the face. I burst out laughing and Val joined in. "This is the first time I see you laughing," he smiled warmly which made my heart skip a beat. I blushed and looked at the bag in my hand, suddenly finding it fascinating. "Your hair is quite long," he said placing a hand on my head, his fingers twisting around with my hair. "Ya, I haven't cut it in awhile." I blushed even more and kept my head down. "Your hair is smooth and it really suits your eyes," he complimented and continued playing with my hair.

I was fairly attractive, raven wavy black hair and baby blue eyes. My hair was long and you could mistaken me for a girl. My body was on the leaner side and I was a 5 feet 8 guy which I consider is a good height. "Dude do you have more snacks?" Alex yelled again ruining the moment. I opened my eyes that I had closed without realizing. "Here," Val threw another two bags of dried fruit and the pair. They caught it this time and I sat up straight, clearing my throat. "It's been awhile, let me go check on them." He stood up and left the building quickly.

"Fuck," I cursed to myself. "What was that?" I mumbled and leaned my head against my hands. This day was great..
