Moon #1

Readers are not omniscient beings when they are brought into a world that they are a fan of and know many things that happen within the stories timelines.

Some major events may miss some key elements that happen in the background and some other mini series that are often missed by fans while they are written in the mangas wiki page for the fans to catch up on.

Some events may not be properly recorded specifically because of a lack of data so the readers can often misinterpret the information or make a mistake somewhere while making up their own theories.

One event had become a big mistake on Alyssia's part which involved the death of Dr Tsukimi and the things that happened on the moon before Enel would arrive.

Alyssia believed that Enel was behind the death of Dr Tsukimi because he was involved in the events on the moon where the explosion happened but she could not be any more wrong since he had not yet arrived until later.

The Space Pirates landed on the moon and set up explosives to dig up the ruins of the ancient civilisation that belonged to the sky people who had come down to earth more than a thousand years ago as they left their automata and many of their scientific advances behind to go to a place with better resources.

The explosion had been done by the Space Pirates but Alyssia had interpreted the story as the explosion being the result of a battle between Enel and the Automata of the moon or the Space Pirates.

In her hopes to save Dr Tsukimi, she removed Enel from those events to prevent what she believed to stop it all from happening but all she had done was remove Enel from intervening in the Space Pirates actions on the moon for a long time.

Dr Tsukimi was able to survive not because she had captured and had Enel killed but because he had been kept busy with the duties he had been left with the Creation Union.

Since he was kept busy, he was unable to enjoy his time under the moonlight and witness the explosions on the moon which caused him to choke upon his food and die.

His automata did not leave his side and they did not venture to the moon to fight against the Space Pirates.

Enel was not there to hit the Automata of Dr Tsukimi with his Rumble Devil Fruit abilities and restore their power and awaken the ancient automata left behind on the moon.

Due to her actions and misjudgement, the Space Pirates had been able to remain on the moon for a long time and were not defeated by Enel.

When the Ark Maxim arrived close to the moon, many of the Minks were already wearing sunglasses to shield their eyes from the strong moonlight and were met with the sight of ancient ruins that were destroyed by more than five different explosions as the Space Pirates had used their explosives to break past any form of protection within the ruins but upon seeing it, Alyssia knew that she had failed in her calculations.

She lowered her head in defeat and sighed. "I should have come much sooner."

She believed that her previous actions could prevent such a future so she left her visit to the moon to a later date but upon arriving, she was proven to be very wrong in her judgement.

Nica observed the destruction below and sighed. "Nobody could know for certain what can happen at all times, you have already done well enough."

Ein added. "Who is to say that we are too late? There must be something that can be salvaged from this."

Tristan added. "We need to investigate first."

Medea spoke. "I can sense life on the moon so it is not too late."

Although Alyssia was not fully aware of who was behind it all, she wished to correct her mistake so she and her crew members landed the Ark Maxim which was being powered by Medea.

One bonus that she had gained from Enel was how to read the moons ancient murals and texts on the remains of the ancient ruins left behind by the sky people.

Alyssia spoke as she read some of the things written down. "The sky people were an advanced civilisation that lived on Birka or the moon, their technological and archaeological advances were very far ahead of others but they lacked resources so they made the decision to leave their home to their automata and journeyed down to earth. From this information and from what we know, different tribes must have been the result of different groups journeying to settle in a sky island below the moon while the Shandoran tribe settled down directly on the earth. Aizah, Ashwin and your fellow people must have originated from this place and one of the previous Sky Islands was named Birka after your original homeland."

Ashwin observed the mess around him and sighed. "We should have come sooner."

Aizah nodded. "If this is where we originate from then I would have liked to see it when it was in a better shape than this but thank you for bringing us here."

Alyssia shook her head and spoke. "Stay sharp, we might be able to find out who was behind this destruction and get the answers we desire."

A space ship was approaching them quickly and she sensed open hostility from those on board.

Many fox-like space pirates and other creatures were on board the ship which had a jolly roger with the skull having an elongated skull.

One of them had a body suit on which had three manometers on it, one was on each sleeve while another was one the chest area.

Among the many people who wished to attack anyone within sight was that one who stood at the front of his crew.

One of his subordinates asked. "Captain Seamars, should we open fire upon the intruders?"

Seamars responded quickly without a shred of mercy. "Eliminate them all, we need to get back to mining the area."

The Space Pirates had mainly come to mine the moon and extract the rocks and other materials or anything that they can find for their own interests.

They would land on not just the moon but also many other places like moving debris moving through space or uninhabited planets that the people on the earth did not know the existence of.

It was unknown how many groups of aliens there were in space somewhere or that inhabited some other planet but the earth below could have already welcomed aliens from space or other planets if it had already had the people of the moon journey down.

It would explain some things about some of the different or unusual races that may have been said to appeared more than a thousand years ago.

It may also explain some things about the void century but Alyssia was unable to gain any information from the ancient texts which had disappointed her.

Just as the Space Pirates were about to attack, the two sky people of her crew had attacked first.

Aizah hovered on her newly modified skates as she had gained a boost to her speed as boosters were placed on the back while the bottom had similarities to Germa technology which allows her to hover in the air.

She held two pistols in her hands which had special bullets inside, different from her launcher gun the pistols had smaller containers and were less difficult to manage in combat.

Six bullets were in each gun and as she pulled the trigger, the front created a flash which blinded those who looked her way and a bullet was released as it flew towards a Space Pirate crew member.

Some bullets were ordinary bullets while some were less fragile as they contained something within that would be released upon making contact with something.

Some bullets contained poisonous powders within or a strong anaesthetic and upon breaking the skin of those it had been fired upon, the contents of the bullet entered their wound which let the effects take place very quickly.
