No Named District #3

It was very easy for Alyssia to lose the location of each person once they began moving around.

It made it very difficult to keep track of them when they split up and went around many locations taking different routes and passages that led to other locations.

It was like they were moving in a small organised force that began to cause the surroundings to take up different positions.

It was difficult to figure out who was the leader of them and it was even more difficult to figure out if the location the child went to was really the base of the boss of Asylum.

There needed to be some hidden places for any criminal organisation to let them hide out in their own territory without outsiders being able to come to them all the time.

Their lives would be under constant threat if they stayed in the same location where just about anyone knew about.

If a child could know where the boss was then the organisation would not be so secure and would not last very long.

Alyssia expected that the location the child had visited was just a check in point or outpost for their operations.

The boss would never be caught being there and would hide out somewhere else.

It was said by Stussy that she had never met the boss of the Asylum personally so she did not know if the boss was male or female.

The surrounding people started to move around the territory as if preparing for the worst case scenario while a small group came forward to escort Alyssia. "Weapons?"

It was for their safety and their bosses to not allow her in carrying anything that could be used to inflict violence on anyone in the district.

Alyssia rolled her eyes and thought to herself. 'I am the weapon. How could you ever imagine that this body possesses the kind of power which could destroy this place..'

She coughed and turned out her pockets while showing some other areas. "I have none so can we get moving along?"

When they saw the patches of white fur on some parts of her body for a moment, they showed a little surprise but quickly came back to their senses.

They did not know who was visiting their boss and what made their boss so interested in such a person but they could only follow the orders of those above them to escort Alyssia.

They ended up leading her through many paths until she arrived at the building the child visited.

Some others had entered before her and were sitting waiting in the back.

Inside the building where Alyssia stepped into, she could pick up on the scents and other things still lingering within it.

Each part told tales about what had happened within the building in the past and even if it had been cleaned up a little, it still could not hide away its dark past.

Some rooms she walked by did not have ordinary doors but instead had barred or bolted doors to keep people locked behind them.

Rusty chains could be seen lying in some parts of those rooms with worn out rings and other strange contraptions scattered around.

On the walls were where there were still freshly made holes that had yet to be filled in which showed that the chains and restraining tools had been removed from the walls and other places they had been secured to.

There was some mould around the walls of the building along with hole and cracks which showed that even a building they were using for such a meeting could not be so easily fixed up unless they were prepared to start demolishing the whole thing allowing them to rebuilt everything from scratch.

It showed that their priorities were not to build upon or fix the problems since they probably did not have a long term goal beyond surviving and maintaining what they already had.

All that they had would be better put towards helping them gain more power and improving the lives of everyone that lived there even if it was providing small amounts of food and drink over other luxuries they could not afford.

The child was an example of how the area had been ruled along with many others.

The child was in a poor state but it was not completely bad since it was likely that they were previously in a much worse state and were still recovering from that after the new boss took over.

It was also possible that the child was someone who was seeking asylum from another place so it was not like Alyssia could jump to conclusions about how the boss was ruling over everyone and only prioritising a small amount of people.

Her gaze fell on the final door at the end of her path and woman stood dressed in a frilly polkadot dress along with other pieces of clothing that completed a clown outfit.

She wore white makeup with a red circle painted on each cheek over the thick make up or face paint.

Completing her overall outfit was an oversized hat on her head that matched everything she was wearing and there was a studded metallic bat resting on her shoulder.

Underneath her hat was short blue hair that was curled and a pair of blue eyes, she looked towards Alyssia and opened the door. "Welcome to the Asylum. You may enter. The boss is waiting for you."

She flashed Alyssia a small smile as she turned to push the door open allowing them both entry.

The insides seemed like a small office space that was occupied by old table, desks and chairs.

It was like they had been made using scrap parts or had been picked up from somewhere they had been abandoned.

A man was seated with a wide grin on his face with red paint over his mouth and cheeks. "Welcome to the Asylum!"

He wore a smart purple suit and curled boots while his green hair was spiked up, he carried himself quite well and seemed to be quite comfortable and relaxed as if he did not care too much about what was about to be discussed.

Alyssia nodded as she stepped inside and the door was heard closing behind her.

She found a seat to sit on and sat across from the boss who she was led to and greeted her. "I have come with the information you seek and have come seeking to possibly work together if our goals align."

The green haired man smiled wider and laughed. "Hahaha so the kid was not lying. How interesting! I am Zero of the Asylum! Nice to meet ya! So what is it you aim to do here? How about introducing yourself?"

Alyssia sighed. "One moment.."

The green haired man leaned back in his chair with a puzzled look on his face as if he was unsure why Alyssia was not answering him. 'What is wrong? Was I too forward with asking who they are?'
