That leakage was soon dealt with but the method used was highly volatile and made others victims as a result.
The chemical fog that existed was primarily diverted away from one location.
When considering such a plan, the higher-ups had to consider who was best to prioritize for safety and who to sacrifice.
It was only natural that the lower districts would be the ones to be chosen to become the sacrifices while those in the higher districts would be prioritized to be saved.
The lower districts were flooded with many kinds of chemical gases causing the danger to keep increasing to those living there as it increased not only in size but also the volatility as more kinds of gases were mixed in causing numerous reactions.
Quinn was not considered one of the top geniuses and did not have a high position so he did not have much say in it all.
What made matters worse was that his home was located in the lower districts and he had to live under such worsening conditions.
His wife became ill and too weak to be moved around and it was already quite difficult to leave the island so he had no other choice but to leave her behind.
That was the only way that he could save his daughter and be able to escape safely with her.
He did some travelling around in search of a place to settle down when he heard about Egghead being a good place for scientists and those looking to pursue similar paths.
It seemed like the perfect environment for him to start his new life with his daughter while trying to find a way to solve the problem back home.
Even if he was unable to achieve it, he hoped that the new environment would be a big help for his daughter to be able to achieve it in his place.
They did not notice that a tall figure was standing nearby watching the exchange then came between them.
Alyssia placed her hand on both of their shoulders after appearing close to them in an instant. "I think that we can be of help. Ein... do you want to work with him to find a solution?"
She found that having a new project was always something great since it gave them all a reason to work toward something.
It was not only a way to improve their skillset but to learn how to work together to achieve something greater too.
What one person could not hope to achieve could be achieved by many putting their heads together.
Perhaps Alyssia could achieve everything alone since she had the assistance of her system but that would be all too easy.
Sometimes it was better to let people figure things out themselves rather than give them the answer.
Sometimes the efforts put in were needed to feel a sense of accomplishment when something was achieved.
If a person did not encounter setbacks and was always given the answer by others then they would struggle to do things on their own and would find it easier to give up when they encountered a problem they could not solve right away.
That was the way that Alyssia tried to nurture the talents around her.
She gave them enough to be able to reach their full potential but everything else depended on their every effort and their determination to be able to succeed.
She could give them a gentle nudge at times or the tools or suggestions needed to achieve everything but the rest was up to them.
She had already seen the skills belonging to Quinn so she already had a good idea of what he was working on and what type of goal he was working toward.
Quinn turned to see Alyssia appear before him and his eyes widened. "You want to help me?"
Alyssia took back her hand before replying nonchalantly. "I just feel that if we work together, there might be something good to come out of this. It would not be bad to work with us... our funding and capabilities are very high. As for the other stuff..."
She continued to add more details about the benefits.
One of those things was related to the distribution and regulations related to the results of their cooperation.
Alyssia saw great potential in what he had in mind and it would help to get everyone to work together on something.
Some problems could arise from such a project since anything developed could be engineered into something harmful despite being built primarily to help others.
Upon being introduced to the problem of coming up with a way to counter such a problem, they all began to put their mind together.
Each area of expertise was used to look toward the problem and how to solve it using different ways then they were discussed further until they put their ideas together.
Tristan was able to offer a lot of knowledge about medical and treatment areas that would help toward treatment while she learned some more from Alyssia and Quinn about areas she had less experience with like working with complex chemicals.
Nica was able to learn many things in areas she had never studied before while assisting with a lot of Ein's work so her mechanical knowledge had expanded even further as she delved more into robotics and cybernetics too.
Ein who was mainly used to creating robots, mechs and much more machinery-based things had been given the task of thinking of creating things that had a clear purpose and usage that could be a benefit to more people.
She had to think about how to approach things from a whole different angle than what she was used to which caused new ideas to be created.
After their efforts were combined several blueprints were set out on the table after some time.
On them was a blueprint that had been carefully drawn but it looked nothing like her usual creations.
Her usual human or animal designs that moved around on their limbs had been lost while the shape had been changed too.
Several features have been added to allow flight while some of the similar designs showed different uses and functions they came with.
Each of them had several parts that had been contributed toward each person standing in the room.
