In the 28th year of the Vermillion Bird Empire, the great and terrible Vermillion was felled at the hands of the Great Dragon Emperor, who, in a righteous rage, brought death and destruction to the empire.
This was when the Great Hero, Oxi of White Steel, rose up. With a reputation as the only kind general in Vermillion’s army, he easily persuaded the people to join his cause as he rebuilt the empire.
From the ashes, he grew farms, and from deserts, he made rivers. Oxi was as intelligent as he was strong, coming up with clever solutions to problems he and his people faced. For roles he couldn’t personally take, he gave them to competent and trustworthy personnel.
They were all assigned different roles as they facilitated the quick rebirth of the empire under a different name, Oxaivalon.
One would assume this story was at its end, but the ramifications of Vermillion’s influence on the rest of the world did not suddenly disappear with him.
