Chapter 4

Crisanta glared at Selena as she tried acting pitifully in front of everyone.

"My husband went to France and didn't come back yet. I informed him about Cassandra's death but he said he is busy. So, I personally arranged everything for Cassandra---" while fake tears fell down her cheeks.

However, she doesn't know that the man she mentioned is now behind her.

"Who is busy, Crisanta?" Yolando asked as he tried calming down himself when he saw his daughter's portrait in front while Crisanta was holding the white porcelain jar.

Calvin even supported from behind sneakily.

"Y-Yolando..?!" as she was shocked to see the man she fancied in front of her.

"Y-You're here" her body was shaking while her voice trembled and she panicked inside.

However, for the onlookers' perspective, her actions showed her sadness because of Cassandra's death.

"Should I not be here?" Yolando gritted his teeth and stretched out his arms towards Crisanta.

Crisanta's eyes shone and she acted pitifully again as she walked towards Yolando.

"I'm fine, Yola--" her words were cut off when Yolando told her of his intention.

"Give me her jar" he said coldly. Crisanta was frightened and gave the jar to him.

He tightened his embrace on the jar and walked towards the direction of Cassandra's portrait.

Cassandra's angelic face with beautiful smiles was molded out of her biological mother's appearance.

If she has given a chance to live, Yolando is certain that Cassandra's beauty will be envied by many, even celebrities.

Suddenly, a commotion happened outside the funeral because of two person who wanted to be included on Cassandra's funeral.

"Daddy, why are we here?" Samuel asked as he gazed around.

He didn't feel any gloominess that should a funeral have while his ears heard many gossips about the Del Mundo Family.

"We are attending this funeral because of dad's little friend" Mr. Fernandez only said as he led his son towards the entrance of the funeral homes.

He frowned as he saw the low-quality flower bouquets, interior designs and...wait. There's no coffin at all?

He was displeased and glared at his assistant, Glenn Javier.

Glenn flinched as he felt his boss displeased expression and panicked.

He gazed around and immediately understood.

Everything is low-quality and even the little girl's corpse was cremated without his knowledge.

"S-Sir--" he wanted to ask for forgiveness but Mr. Fernandez waved his hand at him.

"Go to Africa and reflect yourself of what you have done wrong" Mr. Fernandez coldly said and continued walking towards the direction of the portrait.

Glenn just bowed down his head left the venue as he called for the another person to be his substitute as an assistant.

Mr. Fernandez even didn't see Yolando who was standing near the portrait because his eyes stared on the portrait.

"Such a beautiful child but her life was stolen by a merciless murderer" he murmured while his eyes moistened. If only he knows... he sighed.

"What do you mean?!" Yolando asked angrily at Mr. Fernandez.

Mr. Fernandez was stunned to find Yolando with a reddened eyes and was about to retort but he heard his sons cry.

"You!!! You're that demon woman who abused the little girl in my dream!!" Samuel pointed towards the direction of Crisanta as he angrily stared at her.

----

Samuel cannot control himself when he saw Crisanta who looked exactly like the middle-aged woman inside his dream and the one who always abused the little girl.

"W-What are you saying, Little Samuel? I'm her mother. How can I do that?" Crisanta tried convincing Samuel that she is not that kind of person he thought of.

She even recklessly hold tightly on his wrist which made Samuel winced in pain.

"What do you think you are doing?!" Mr. Fernandez angrily shouted at Crisanta as he saw his son being in pain.

"Are you okay?" Mr. Fernandez asked as he blows on his son's wrist.

"I'm fine, Daddy" Samuel said softly to his father.

However, they didn't notice that Yolando follow behind them and heard Samuel's words.

"Who is the little girl, Little Samuel?" Yolando asked and he didn't know why his heart softened as he sees him.

"Uhh.. I don't know her name--" Samuel looked around and eventually, his eyes landed on to Cassandra's portrait. His eyes widened and was in disbelief while his body shook.

"I-It's...HER" Samuel pointed towards Cassandra's portrait while his eyes moistened. Although he is a child and acted mature among his peers, he is not dumb enough not to understand what happened in front of him.

The little girl inside his dream is already dead and the middle-aged woman was the one who perhaps killed her.

Yolando immediately erupted and slapped on Crisanta's cheeks.

"You ungrateful woman! I left my daughter to you because of my best friend's dying wish to take care of you and your daughter! But what did you do?! You abused my daughter!!"

He cried loudly. Samuel looked up at Yolando and clasped his chest.

'This man in front of me affected my heart so much' he thought and subconsciously walked in front of Yolando.

"Throw this woman and her daughter outside! Don't let them in!" Mr. Fernandez initiated. Four black suit men was dragging Crisanta and her daughter outside the venue.

"Cassandra!!" Yolando cried like a woman but no guests laughed at him. They pity him.

"S-Sir" Samuel called out to Yolando but was shocked when he was hugged tightly by him.

"My Cassandra!!" he was crying until he passed out.

'Forget it' he thought.

When Mr. Fernandez turned around, he was stunned to see Yolando is hugging his son tightly.

'Is it because of heart organ?' Mr. Fernandez thought and laughed at himself.

'Impossible' he murmured.

Behind the crowd where the commotion happened, a little girl with a pink flower designed bonnet was standing among the adults.

Her face was hidden very well by her bonnet and only her chin was exposed.

"I found you..."

"...My Heart"

She smirked and left the place.
