Measure

"My Lady, you should go and see him," Areal said, floating around the silver-haired woman sitting in front of her vanity, staring at the pictures on the mirror with a distressed expression on her face. "My Lady." 

"What is the point of doing that, Areal?" Selene asked, burying her hands in her face. "I ... I could do nothing for him. In the end ... In the end, I failed him. Why do I always end up failing him?"

Taking on a physical form, Areal walks over to Selene and pats her on the back. "My lady, things happen sometimes. You will never be able to do everything you want to for your child, even if you are a Deity."
