Little brother

When she got back to the large and breathtaking mansion, she couldn't help but admire the beauty this palace had on the inside and out.

There were beautiful fountains around the green and healthy looking plants. There were many bushes with different shapes and sizes, trees filled with juicy fruit and sprinklers creating small delicate rainbows along the path to the front door.

Quang never imagined such a place existed in the city. She felt like she was maybe dreaming or was sucked into wonderland by accident.

With great difficulty, she shifted her attention away from the beautiful front yard and towards her goal. That's right, she had to find out more about this Ivin Reeves and how he is related to Lia's accident.

Although Lia was fine, something terrible could have happened to her. Quang couldn't imagine how life would be without her best friend.

...

When she got inside, she found Ivin standing very close to a beautiful young woman.

When she looked closer, her eyes widened at who was standing before her. 'Its Jayla Uran!' Quang thought.

An unbelievably great actress who performed lead roles in almost every movie Quang had watched. Jayla was incredibly famous around the world with everything a girl could wish for: money, fame, a wealthy family and killer good looks.

She couldn't believe someone as famous as her was standing in the very same room as her, next to the most handsome man she had ever seen.

Both Jayla and Ivin noticed Quang staring at them with shock printed on her face.

Ivin calmly stepped away from Jayla and put his hands in his pockets with a blank expression.

"You're back. Cheryl is waiting for you with your breakfast upstairs." he said. Jayla glared at Quang with a scoff. "How dare she interrupt our conversation. Doesn't she know wh-" Jayla complained but was cut off by Ivin.

"She doesn't need to know. All she needs to do is get upstairs." Ivin said, his tone a little colder and direct as he looked at Quang.

Quang felt very small compared to the two big shots in front of her. She didn't even know how to react to his command, but she somehow gathered some confidence and gave Jayla a calm yet stern look.

"I know, but i have something serious to discuss with Ivin." she said to them both even though her gaze was focused on Jayla.

She knew how celebrities treated people like her and she didn't want to seem weak in front of Jayla nor Ivin.

Ivin and Jayla both exchanged glares and nodded before Jayla walked out with her head high.

When the two butlers closed the door behind her, Quang looked at Ivin with a slight tinge of nervousness.

"So, what is it that you want to discuss that is way more important than my conversation?" Ivin asked as he walked towards a couch and sat with his long legs crossed.

He patted the space next to him, gesturing Quang to sit.

Quang swallowed and slowly walked to sit next to him.

"I wanted to ask about my friend Lia's accident. It seems like the car she described was...was the same one you picked me up with the other night." she said incertainly.

The room was silent for a few moments before Ivin spoke. "You're correct Ms Giang, it was my driver that injured hour friend." he said calmly. Quang sighed. She expected that answer but it still gave her a wierd feeling.

"Then why wasn't he caught by the police?" She asked. Ivin was quiet for an even longer period of time with his eyes focused on the flames of the fireplace.

He then stood up and walked towards the stairs. Quang stared at him in confusion.

"You did not eat the food I cooked personally for you. That's very rude." he said. Did he just change the subject? It seemed like he was avoiding her question deliberately.

Quang stood up from the couch with a now serious expression. "Why was your driver caught by the police after the accident Mr Reeves?" she asked again and he froze without looking at her.

"You need to go eat." He said in a low voice.

Quang bravely walked to stand in front of him. She looked up at his calm and carefree face with a stern look. Suddenly, she grabbed him collar and pulled him closer to her face, which surprised Ivin.

"It's either you answer my question or we stand in this position for the rest of the day Mr Reeves." She commanded. She herself did not know where she got her courage from. She should be treating this man with a lot of respect because of his high class appearance and his offer to help her with a place to stay, but instead she's busy cammanding him like he was her little brother.

Ivin smirked and moved his face closer to hers. Quang's eyes slightly widened at his sudden move and at how close their faces were.

"Oh I wouldn't mind staying like this all day Ms Giang. Not at all."
