12. A Trip

Sunday morning, Harsya and Ria arrived at my boarding house. After putting our luggage in the trunk. I looked at the watch in my hand. Half an hour had passed from the agreed time, but Airin still couldn't see the bridge of her nose. I'm starting to get annoyed, I'm the type of person who is always on time, so I hate it when an appointment keeps getting delayed. Even though I have memorized this habit of Airin, I still feel irritated, and I regret yesterday I didn't advance the time when I told Airin.

"Maybe there is something important that made him late," said Harsya trying to calm me down when she saw me grumbling.

"If Airin is Miss Late, Sis," answered Ria.

Harsya had never met Airin, so she was kind.

"I didn't pick up my phone," said Ria, starting to get annoyed.

Half an hour later, Airin didn't appear until Ria and I were cranky. Only Harsya was able to smile and tried to calm us both down.

A quarter of an hour later, Airin just appeared with a pitiful face asking for understanding while conveying several reasons. Ria and I snorted. Stale! Harsya then helped Airin put her things into the car. Ria and Airin sat in the back seat while Harsya and I sat in the front seat. Harsya immediately started the car and started it.

I'm still annoyed by this delay because I'm a punctual person. I ignored Airin's apology. What then made me smile were the jokes that Harsya made. I also couldn't help but smile when he started to make his flirtations. The atmosphere in the car no longer felt quiet but began to be full of jokes because Harsya involved my two friends in conversation.

I always feel lucky to have Harsya by my side. He can always lighten my mood when I'm speechless. He always comforts me when I feel sad or upset.

After almost three hours of travelling, we finally arrived at our destination. We stopped at a mosque to perform the dhuhr prayer and then looked for food not far from there.

After finishing their lunch, we continued our trip to our boarding house.

The boarding house they were going to was quite close to the hospital. The house looks beautiful with a large yard for parking, and the plants in pots are neatly arranged. One set of tables and chairs is located on the house's terrace, which is quite spacious.

We quickly got out of the car onto the terrace and sat in his comfortable chairs. Harsya and I stood in front of the door after ringing the bell, waiting. Soon a mother in her fifties opened the door and ushered us into the living room. The four of us immediately entered. After making small talk for a while, we conveyed our intentions for boarding here. We had contacted the boarding house sometime before, so she had already prepared two rooms for us, but since no one wanted to be alone, we ended up taking only one room. The boarding house only agreed.

We went to the car and took our things. Harsya helped me carry my suitcase to my room. Then we talked for quite a while on the terrace together before he said goodbye.
