Raymond and Rebecca continued talking the whole night. When Rebecca opened up about the matter earlier, Raymond started comforting her and giving her a hug. After all, he didn't really know what was going on in her mind.

He only knew what she felt because of her obvious expression and actions, but not entirely what she was thinking as he was never prepared for it.

And as they used the time all night, Raymond unconsciously fell asleep in Rebecca's room, hugging her like a kid that had just calmed down after crying all night.

Rebecca could only smile sweetly, thinking how pathetic she was for comparing herself to Raymond. She's not supposed to feel it. Insecurity in her own family won't do any good.

At least she now knows everyone has their own specialty and uniqueness. She couldn't do what Raymond did since she wasn't a genius, but at least she knew she had strengths that only she could do.

Thinking of an example, it might not be the right time, but believing in oneself will bring more confidence and the proper time to bloom will eventually come.

In Fulgran's estate, he was sitting before two people. It was Johnass and one stranger for him, but actually a lackey of Johnass.

Johnass has become his personal secretary, and due to his recognition of him for tormenting Rebecca's family, he earned Fulgran's trust. However, one event would just crumble his efforts to get Fulgran's trust.

"Tell me what happened. How come that bitch wasn't crawling her way to me, asking me to forgive her for what she had done? "

Fulgran was so infuriated that his face showed how extremely enraged he was. The air in the room was also starting to get dense as the mana was fluctuating as well.

Johnass was nervous, but no one could compare to how nervous Johnass's lackey was as he was supposed to be the informant, yet he had no useful information to give.

And as Fulgran started to decide to calm down, he pushed himself to smile and faced Johnass with a question he was prepared to ask.

"So tell me, how is this possible?"

Johnass lowered his head and explained things to him, starting with how they were still able to put food on their table.

"What? His brother was the one who was buying the food. Why didn't you put him on the blacklist?"

"It is because he wasn't well known in the market. Even if we make the effort of putting him on the blacklist, he could still buy food." Johnass explained.

Slowly, just because of his explanation, Fulgran was feeling his blood boiling again. Well, technically, it was because of the insecurity that made him act this way. He is infuriated because Rebecca isn't still begging him.

Once he heard some signs of hope for them, he could feel his heat rising. He was sure to explode in anger because of that matter.

He had received humiliation. Even if it was only small, he still felt his pride being trampled, so he wouldn't be calm until he saw Rebecca's face turning ugly in front of him. He wanted to see her sour face begging for forgiveness from him.

That was supposed to happen. However, when he heard the next report from Johnass, he became more devastated.

"Young Master, the bitch's family had moved to the middle district. I suspect that someone supported them for some reason. Also, we cannot push ourselves to continue tormenting them after this, young master."

The devastation made Fulgran silent. His nerves were as if they were going to explode, but he wasn't shouting in despair; he felt that there was still a way to give them the consequences they deserved.

"Know who supported them. Pay anyone you can pay just to torment them. And tell me whoever helped them, I will punish them myself even he is the village leader."

Fulgran gritted his teeth in anger. Johnass and the lackey just looked at him with surprised eyes. Those words were words of treason. They should turn deaf to it. If they won't, they'll be linked to it as well.

"Leave," Fulgran said in a low tone that was immediately obeyed by them.

And as they finally left, Fulgran stood up from his bed and approached his mirror, which was just near his desk. He then looked at himself and saw the infuriated expression that was wrinkling his whole face.

"What an ugly face for me to have," he mumbled to himself, then took the vase just near it.

Crash!

Out of nowhere, he threw this vase at the mirror and shouted after it.

"Take a new mirror. A mirror that will show my real worth..."

In the Master's room, Fulgran's father was looking deeply into Johnass. Apparently, Johnass reported everything to the Master, just to ask for advice on what he should do with his son. But instead of receiving one, he only received an insult.

"You are getting senile, Johnass. However, worry not, I will talk to my son about it."

Johnass made a gulp and then lowered his head.

"Please forgive me for my shortcomings, Master. But I only wanted to report to you that it would be difficult for us to push through our power in the middle district."

"I know. That is why we are taking a different route of punishing them."

Slowly, Johnass's head slowly raised in hope.

"Kill them all except for the whore you are mentioning. Take her and bring her to me. I will talk about this matter with my son. Don't worry."

Johnass's eyes were now filled with hope. How? Well, because he is going to do another dirty job. Apparently, he is a maniac in this case. He wanted to do the dirty jobs for his masters. That may also be the reason he wanted to serve them.

Even being a head butler, he could still do the dirty jobs, but no excitement can replace what he is feeling now.

'Ah... Hahaha.' Johnass laughed inwardly. 'I can finally mobilize my assassins...'

Just after those words that were given by the Master of the estate, Johnass stood up and left the Master's room. It is not the end after all... Killing them would be the only way, was it?

Why didn't he think of it? Was it because he was worried about raising the young master? Probably.

And just as Johnass walked away from the room, a grin on his face appeared.
