Reputation [1]

Reputation was important for individuals who wanted to establish their names in an organization or environment. Hence, Raymond thought that what if he showed that he was not an easy person to approach?

So, on the first day of the academy, it was already clear that his batchmates would be looking at him. It was already that much to think of, as his face was already in public.

However, what was not widely known in the public was his attitude. Hence, for the whole two years under the academy, Raymond intended to use his attitude as the major factor for getting people to give him space.

But the question was, why would he put much effort into having his own space?

'It is already obvious that the plot changed. Hence, the difficulty changed to the point that it would be difficult for me to filter things out. So, instead of letting other people unintentionally mask my vision, I would push them to have a clear path and a clear vision of what to see.'

It was a matter of fact that Raymond was gambling on his reputation and background. But, it didn't mean that he would not take precautions in this play. He knew that there were limitations on things.

Raymond finally stood up in front of the academy. It was still early in the morning, but Raymond noted that he should create a major issue that people would see in him.

'Going to the academy early would easily grab their attention for me. After my face, they would try to inspect me. But, that is only a small portion of the things I would put.'

Even though he was aiming to have their attention hazy or ignore him, he knew that it was inevitable to grab their attention.

The academy was so huge that there was the main building, which was three-story-tall, and also a wall that was all around the whole premises.

There was an open yard, probably for outdoor activities. And just at the very left side of the academy was the boarding house, separately for males and females.

The exterior of the academy was eye-catching. There was a pointy design at the very top of the building. Furthermore, it was archaic.

"Hey, isn't he the one who has an A-Grade Talent? Why is he so early?" Raymond heard someone talking, and as he shifted his attention to the direction where the voice loomed, he took a pause and looked at a young man.

A teenage boy, no older than 16, stood 5 meters away from Raymond. His face was just average, with black hair and black eyes, but what was eye-catching about him was his gold-framed eyeglasses. Apart from that, nothing could be different between him and other students.

Raymond raised an eyebrow, tingling his curiosity as he could only see one person, yet the boy talked as if he had someone to talk with.

He approached the boy, who took a pause, then Raymond gave him an observant look. He squinted his eyes then asked, "Who are you talking to?"

The teenage boy just gulped and then diverted his eyes to somewhere. He looked nervous, and when Raymond stepped one step forward, he retracted and moved back.

"I will be going!" Then he ran away.

Raymond was left dumbfounded. What he had just encountered was a strange student who was a year older than him. He could be from the second year, which was focused on practical, but he could not care more.

Raymond's curiosity was piqued for a short time, but then, he could not think of anything relevant towards the boy.

He shook his head and then entered the academy and went straight to his room. Then, as he arrived at his room, he immediately slept in one chair.

Slowly, as the sun completely rose, the first-year students started arriving. When they entered, they noticed that someone was already there.

They looked at him intently and then realized who he was.

"Hey, isn't he the one who awakened with A-Grade? Why is he so early?"

"Ah... I don't know. I just got here at the same time as you."

One student shrugged and then just ignored what the other student said. Then, they approached Raymond, who was still sleeping and tried to look more closely at him.

They exhaled, then smiled as they saw how they got to be in the same room with a famous person.

"Wow... Look at how calm his face was. Even though he had an average face, he still had an amazing demeanor. His body is even honed despite being 15 years old."

"Yeah, I am envious of him."

Raymond had heard everything. They all had positive views of him, and just at that, it indicated that they would be trying to get acquainted with him. However, what was in his mind was to establish a negative reputation.

In short, Raymond was aiming to hate them so that they wouldn't be able to bother them.

But he should not jump. Maybe in this course of time, in this timeline, they would act differently.

It was what Raymond thought. But just as the class was about to start, 3 minutes before the professor arrived, his classmates started flocking towards him. They were giving him some sort of amused eyes, and their faces were beaming with their smiling expressions.

Raymond was clouded by their attention, and it was not a good sign. He just sighed, then stood up from his seat and moved to another chair.

Everyone gazed upon him with surprised eyes. They didn't expect that Raymond would suddenly get away from them.

'Let us just observe them for a week. If they don't stop bothering me, I should start my plan.' Raymond thought and then waited until their professor arrived.

"Okay, class. Please go to your respective seats and our class will start."

A young man arrived at the room and immediately made everyone hush. They then went back to their seats as when the young man entered, a mysterious aura surrounded and filled the room.

Raymond's eyes were fixed on him and he noticed how formal he was. Starting from his wardrobe to his demeanor, he seemed to be a respectable person.

He had eyeglasses and well-groomed hair. And as he faced the class, the students noticed his aura that was as if it was pressuring them.

"Okay. I will be your professor for the whole year. You will learn how to be a proper awakened human that you wouldn't learn anywhere else in the village."
