Chapter 14. Getting new cards. (Restless days. Part. 4)
The indicators on the device after a few seconds showed instead of 60, an incomprehensible number and the device turned off almost immediately.
But it didn't end there... the device seemed to go crazy and picked up the card that had to be taken up for verification. After that, the device showed on its display "Too much power. Transmission..." And immediately after that, there was a smell of something burnt.
It lit up almost everything that was in the room… A huge fire started…
The cards that were lying around us seemed to go berserk and started flying near me. We ran out of the building and they continued to chase me and now , when we had already run outside , the cards were put together into 3 cards with their names:
The first of them was "Submission" - gives the ability to control everything related to light.
The second of them was the card "Deviation" that I didn't understand - the ability was not described, and it's not a good idea to deal with it during a fire.
And the third card was "Star Stop", its ability was similar to saving in games that need to be played for quite a long time.
Just the first card I used to put out the fire, or rather I just extinguished the fire by throwing the card into it. The card then immediately flew back to me and landed right on my face.
Uyato-san stood in shock from what was happening, because all this happened in just a few minutes.
I stirred him up and asked him to go into the building to inspect what had burned and what had not.
The laboratory in which the research took place was almost completely burned down, but the room that was in front of the research laboratory was completely intact.
Also, all the people were fine and no one was worried about what was happening at all.
-- Eh.. Burned down again..." Suddenly uttered Uyato-san.
-- Again? So has this happened before? I asked.
-- yes. A few years ago, a guy came to me, his name was Ari, he looked almost like all ordinary teenagers, like everyone else, just studying in our laboratory. I also started researching him and about the same thing happened, but for some reason only one card was formed in his case. But yours has three at all. Well, after he got his card, he ran away shouting something in the likeness: "I am the almighty, juhu!". I hope you don't run away as well…
-- Of course, I'm not like that weirdo and I wasn't going to shout at the top of my voice that I have great power. I said, after which Kaji-san grinned.
-- Well, then come every week to learn the necessary skills, because you don't want to tell anyone else from your class that you have great power.
I would like to hide it from everyone, but unfortunately Neela and Miku definitely already knew about it. But nothing, they don't seem to be bad people, but Laji… Wow that Ladzi… I thought he was a normal kid, but he turned out to be a traitor who wants to kill me because of my strength. Who runs it?
I've been dealing with this for a while now. After searching through several libraries, I found some interesting facts in places that are not at all peculiar to them.
Previously, all the clans were apart from each other, but after the cards were found in the 20th and 21st centuries, the clans split into squads, as soon as the clan of stars was left alone. All the stars can only live in Tokyo, if they fall asleep somewhere other than him, then they will fall asleep before touching another person's card. Moons and green dragons can be anywhere, which is their advantage. It was precisely because of their advantage that these two clans united. This was the end of my research, because I can't find information about the heads of clans in libraries.
For a while, someone else was watching me, but I was just trying to be in more crowded places and not stand out among others in any way. Even when others called me to go for a walk, I tried in every possible way to get out of it so as not to harm them, because I didn't know what the clan alliance could do to me and my friends
And now the restless summer days are coming to an end, and the monotonous school days begin…
I really wanted it to be true. But, unfortunately, it's not like that at all…
