THE BATTLE OF A MAGE AND WARRIOR

Back in the room, a pissed-off me sighed angrily'at those guys sent to make my life a living hell all the way' standing to my feet and glancing at the other two in the room who had given up talking to me since I don't give any answer heading for the door

"Hey kaloan can I ask you for a favour?" Establishing a link once more when I got to the door, stepping on my track.

"Sorry kid am a little busy right now, I had my hands full, maybe later" kaloan voice a bit picked up, breathing heavily replied before ending the link, I didn't need to ask what is going on cause I could deduce one or two.

"Am heading out, care to join me" I announced to the other two who in turn looked at me like some sort of clown or one that had seen a ghost.

"Are you sick in the head or something young man, or did the beating of yesterday got a few screws loses in your head, didn't you hear those guys clearly, they are going to break our hands and feet if we step out of this room and you still want to go out?"

Shrugging my should over what he said I pushed the door open about to step out hoping they would change their minds seeing my resilience but they didn't budge, even David that kept sucking on us recently didn't move a muscle

Making a few dodges and sneakingly approaching the academy gate with great difficulty not daring to stroll with stroden steps to take some beating, am no idiot to offer myself as a fatted cow for slaughter

Just when I was about to step out I heard my name behind me almost like a whisper, turning my view to the direction it came from i saw two sneaking figures approaching me scanning left and right with every step they took.

Immediately they arrived we rushed out of the academy breathing a sigh of relief having escaped today's ration of beating, we could only pray our luck shone's when we return, David still had the evidence of yesterday's beat plaster on one eye.

What we didn't notice though is someone had spotted the three sneakers and had followed behind us stealthily till we arrived at the place I took the lead carrying everyone along.

"Huh Davis isn't this the royal warrior academy, what are we doing here"

"My question exactly" a voice resounded from behind startling three of us standing at the entrance of a huge building having a name boldly written on the board hung at the entrance. Alpha royal warrior acedemy

Don't look at me that way, you guys are terrible at stealthing, you should be lucky am the one that saw you all" layla smiled seeing our shocked faces more like our questioning gaze especially for me who had shunned her out the last time she came over, last I check the Davis fancying over her is long dead.

________

"Welcome honorable mages what can the warrior academy do for you" an aged man smiled at the group that just arrived not daring to show disrespect, the weakest of mages is still a mage, a class that doesn't come easily.

The young lady sitting behind the counter the aged man stood frowning at the sight of the people that just entered especially when she saw the amount of respect the aged man was given to people, not by any means older than her.

Being a warrior isn't an easy thing too you know, why give them that much honor, as if to add salt to her injury, layla carried herself highly before the aged man acting like some princess as the aged man gave her a slight bow

"Missy can't you show respect to your elder, state your purpose here, and get done with it"

"

Silver keep quiet, don't anger them I beg of you, I won't want to explain to the academy how we lost a genius warrior " the aged man warned, beating layla to her response as she could see she wanted to say something.

Davis took a second scan at the young lady wanting to see what made her a genius as the aged man said but nothing outstanding could be seen other than her well-toned figure, silver hair that drop to shoulder length, the huge sword hanging at her back and a bit of muscular feature here and there attached to her well tone figure

"La6time I check I wasn't here for you, so shuss it, you heard the man, I won't want to be responsible for ending your little charade before it got the chance to shine" waving the young lady off nonchalantly

"What made you feel you can beat me" a battle intent was rising in her over Kayla's words, her voice showing her level of anger, having pulled down the sword and holding it tightly now starring at the other "we are on the same level, am a rank 9 apprentice warrior same goes for you, care to defend your words?"

"Silver!!!"

"I like her spirit senior, I would love to see what she got in her" Davis intruded stopping the aged man from interfering, pulling the other to the side to create a little fighting space for the duo, he couldn't help but want to see what so special about being a warrior.

Layla hearing this got mad even more hearing Davis praised someone else other than her raising her battle spirit to prove to the young man she is the one that deserves his praise no other.

"Davis aren't you just adding fuel to an already burning flame" Joe whispered into Davis hearing at the side and seeing how the whole thing is playing out right now, there are no two ways about it as he could see the blazing desire of Kayla wantting to prove herself stronger and better.

"Am sorry miss hut fighting within the premises of the academy without proper approval is against our policy" the aged man didn't want to give it a rest, trying his best to push the fight away, by all means, silver in the other hand kept thwarting all his effort agreeing to take the fight outside which did catch the attention of passerby and those within the academy

Gathering around to watch a spectacular battle that was about to unfold in front of them, a battle between a mage and a warrior, something no one is willing to miss.
