[14.3] A Different Kind of Ninja

Cyrus stood as stiff as a board by my bedroom door. His eyes shot around frantically as if he wanted to look around, but felt like he was committing a grave sin by doing so. He spoke timidly, "Did we have to shut the door? Shouldn't we have left it open?"

I answered absentmindedly as I opened my closet, "Meh. That would let a breeze in."

Hazel stood beside me as I dug into my closet searching for something. Her smile twitched, "W-What are you doing?"

"Looking for a loophole." I pulled out an outfit and held it up, "What do you think of this?"

She took it with uncertainty, "I don't think you would know who I am if I put this on…"

"Exactly!" I clicked my fingers, "That's the loophole!

Cyrus stared at me in disbelief, "...That's not a loophole. That's just hiding your identity."

"Isn't that the same thing?"

"No. Hiding your identity is illegal." He sighed as he shook his head, "Plus, it's not even a good outfit. Anyone could figure out it was her."

Zephyr, who had been sleeping on the bed in his fox form, finally picked up his head with a yawn. "Why don't you use magic to disguise her?"

I clapped my hands together, "That's genius!! Why didn't I think of that!?"

Cyrus crossed his arms haughtily, "Even if you did use magic, most skilled magicians would be able to figure it out. The Headmaster would-"

I took out my wand and gave it a shake. A bright blue light enveloped her and changed her form in front of our eyes.

...Honestly, the transformation looked like something from Sailor M*on.

When the light disappeared, a young adult that was fully developed was standing in front of us. She wore a tight sleeveless dress with a heart cutout displaying her chest proudly. The skirt had high slits that showed off her smooth legs and left nothing to the imagination. On her wrists and ankles were gauze wrapped around.

Cyrus screeched and covered his eyes, "W-W-W-WHY!?! WHY DOES SHE LOOK LIKE THAT!?"

I shrugged, "When I think of a disguise, I think of a ninja."

"NINJA!?"

"Yeah. Like an assassin."

He stepped away still shaking as he covered his eyes, "What kind of assassin dresses so suggestively like that!?!"

I tapped my chin, "A Shinobi? I think..."

Hazel cried out in a panic, "I-I don't like it!!! Why must I be naked!?"

I frowned, "You're not naked. You're just showing some skin."

*Poof*

Zephyr changed back to his human form and gawked at her, "Wow, wow! I like this disguise!"

Hazel flinched once she saw his face. For a brief moment, it seemed as if a sense of familiarity passed through her eyes. Then as she realized she was being leered at, she flushed bright red as she looked away from him, "P-Please change me back! I'm feeling sick!"

*SMACK*

We all flinched and looked over at the window to see an owl pressed against the glass. The owl changed into a human form and frantically tried to open the window, "YOUNG MASTER! Are you okay!? I heard a shrill scream!"

Zephyr snickered, "Heh… Your scream is so high pitched it attracts owls."

Cyrus blushed from embarrassment and shouted, "Shut up!"

I snickered at Caldwell who was still outside trying to open the locked window. "Haha! You can't break into my room anymore! I started locking my window!"

*SMASH*

We all froze as we watched him punch the window, causing it to shatter. Then he casually reached in and undid the lock.

He jumped into the room and shouted, "What kind of torture are you doing to my young master!?!"

I looked at the window with a defeated expression, "...My window."

Caldwell noticed the full-grown woman and froze. His face twitched, "Who is that?"

Hazel's face was starting to turn green, "I-I'm Hazel… I'm a friend…"

I shrugged, "Not a friend. She's just a little girl I picked up from the streets to teach her loopholes in getting around the political prisoner rule."

Caldwell looked her up and down, "I don't see a little girl…"

I smiled at him, "Well at first I wanted to put her on one of my dresses, but that didn't work. So I used magic to disguise her true identity."

"Ah…" Caldwell looked at my open closet. An evil look sparkled in his eyes, "Say Reika… Does your previous offer still stand?"

I followed his gaze and grinned ear to ear, "It does indeed."

Cyrus flinched with a sense of dread, "W-What are you two planning?"

We stepped close to him with itching fingers. I chuckled, "Cyrus, be a good boy and take off your clothes."

"Huh!?!" He took a step back in fear, "WHAT!?"

Caldwell grinned, "I just want to try a new outfit on you, Young Master."

Cyrus cried out as we jumped on him. I pinned him to the ground while Caldwell attempted to pull off his shirt. He thrashed in my grip, "LET ME GO!"

Hazel swayed, "I-I really don't feel good…"

She collapsed as Caldwell and I was still trying to force Cyrus into a dress.

Cyrus shouted as I held him down, "LOOK! HAZEL FAINTED! HELP HER!"

I shrugged, "I'm sure she's fine."

Zephyr snickered as he pulled out a bag of popcorn and started eating it, "I knew today would be a good day."

I glanced at him, "...Where did you get popcorn from?"

The Headmaster heard screaming and walked upstairs. He threw open the door, "Just what is all this noise-"

The Headmaster froze as he took in the scene. He saw me pinning Cyrus to the ground as Caldwell was trying to undo his clothes, Zephyr sitting on the bed eating popcorn, and an unknown fully grown woman (in every possible way) passed out on the ground.

I forced on a smile, "I promise this has an innocent explanation."

His eyes narrowed, "Just don't forget to do your homework."

He slammed the door and walked back down the hall.

I jumped up, "DON'T JUST LEAVE LIKE THAT!"
