chapter5 this girl is crazy

it has been three days since Grace was forced to take a much needed break from work, just three days and she was already bored out of her mind. On the first day she was just bored, on the second day she became really bored and on the third day she was bored at her mind loneliness can do that to a person

Grace always knew she led a lonely life but this is just outrageous of course she usually chatted with her friend Maya but that was it,

she didn't really have other friends, heck she didn't really like people, so it was a no- no to going out with friends. Of course and Anna tried to contact her but Grace being 'miss Petty pants' she didn't pick up her calls or reply her texts 'how dare she scold me' she thought

all she did all day was watch TV and stuff her face with calories which of course she burnt every evening at her private gym. Grace wasn't slim but she wasn't over weight either, she was actually plum yet tall at 5.8 feet. she didn't have the glorious hourglass figure but she had a generous amount of hip but a small slash medium boobs. Grace loves herself, her face, her skin, her everything .period.

grace lied on her bed staring at the ceiling debating whether to stalk Lucas on social media which used to be her favorite pastime before Anna made her promise to stop

'I am ignoring Anna, might as well ignore her advice' Grace reasons

Grace scrolled from one page to another, from Lucas personal page to this company page. there was nothing much on his personal page except for pictures of Luna Lin and their family dog named Vex and a few stolen shots of him it was obvious that Luna was the one using his social account

"the usual Lucas Lin being perfect as always" Grace mumbled to herself

just then Anna barged into the room

"stalking Mr Perfect again?" Anna mocked hovering over her

"ahh! Anna, are you trying to give me a heart attack" Grace complained. dramatically holding her chest

" when I said take a break I didn't mean jump from one unhealthy obsession(work) to another(Lucas)"

grace just rolled her eyes

" don't give me that face young lady"

" I am literally older than you" Grace scoffed

"you know what we are going out to have some fun" Anna sighed in defeat

believe it or not Grace Tang is an introvert, she is a socialite who loves to attend social event mostly to gloat and show off or to fish for potential business contact, to Grace, social events are opportunities to attract attention and 'pretend' to be better than everyone else when she was not making people jealous and envious, she is either coped up in her office working or she's reading or watching mindless TV. in other words clubbing is definitely out of her comfort zone

"I don't want to be here" Grace complained as soon as she entered the 'noisy establishment' called 'Club Infinity'. the club was classy but crowded and loud. Grace does not like crowded or loud, definitely not Grace's cup of tea.

"come on don't tell me you are scared of the change of scenery" Anna scoffed

" no..maybe.. beside you are pregnant remember" Grace reasoned trying to avoid bumping into people as they made there way to the bar

" am fine, we will be leaving in an hour anyway. "

they silently drank their glasses of non alcoholic drinks

"come on you are supposed to be having fun not drinking and you're not even drinking alcohol" Anna whined

before Grace could give a sassy reply they were interrupted by a high pitched chirpy voice

"hey..Grace long time no see "

Grace just scanned her head to toe.

the woman tried to put on a fake hurt face but was quiet obvious that she was annoyed

" its me, Maria Long"

'oh no' Grace thought. Maria was two grades her senior in high school yet a victim of Grace bullying because she was Lucas ex girlfriend

Anna didn't know who what was going on but she able to put two and two together

'this is not going to end well' Anna sighed
