Grace found it cute that Trevor invited her for ice cream in order to cheer her up
'something sweet to fix your sour mood' he said
Trevor might be a macho criminal mob boss but he is also a cutie with the heart of a child. sometimes.
Trevor took her out to a fancy ice cream parlor where they enjoyed the taste of different flavors of ice cream
apple, banana, chocolate, coconut even carrot flavor. they had it all
"care to share why you are so..... soggy"
"soggy?" Grace chuckled. Trevor had manage to make her smile even without trying. it was getting harder to imagine that this is the same guy kidnapped her a few months ago the more she spent time with him
"if you don't want to talk about it, i understand" Trevor said dejectedly
"it's just .... there is this guy I like. I have liked him for a long while now but, he is getting married" grace sighed "to someone else"
Trevor was silent for a while. as if contemplating on what to do.
"should I get my guns?" he asked in all seriousness
"what?!.....no!"
"then should be kidnap and torture him"
"no!, there will be no guns, kidnappings or torture"
"then what are you going to do?" Trevor asked
"nothing.. I'm going to get over him soon enough. right?"
"are you sure you don't want me to kidnap him?"
she shot a glare at Trevor and he raised his hands in mock surrender.
"you should at least tell me his name"
"no way. he might end up missing"
"I just don't get why any guy in his right mind would reject you"
Grace wasn't in the mood to explain the entire logistics of the situation so instead, she said
"let's just eat our ice cream and forget about it"
hanging out with Trevor actually helped a lot. he helped cheer her up and lift her spirit. Lucas might no longer be on the menu but are still other spicy dishes... right?

it has been seven whole days since the news of Lucas engagement and things were going..great. business was thriving, her family and friends were happy and healthy. grace was healthy and.. happy?. Grace was alive and well until Jasmine Yang barged into her office looking like a steam pot. she looked so furious, her face and eyes were red. her makeup was smudged badly and her was sticking out in different directions. it is safe to say that Jasmine budged into Grace's office looking like a crazy person.
the crazy looking woman walked up to Grace and tried to slap her.
many people, especially women had tried to slap Grace so many times that she could practically sense the slaps coming. she easily caught Jasmin's hand before it could reach her face.
"good morning to you too" grace said with a smirk.
jasmine tried to free her hand crime grace but she wasn't strong enough so she tried tried slap Grace with her second hand but grace caught it too.
"how dare you! unhand me! I'll make you pay for this! let me go!!" Jasmine struggled to free herself from Grace iron grip
Grace was not only angered by Jasmine's audacity to barge into her office and attack her, she was also curious as to why Jasmine Yang Aka Lucas's fiancé aka Trevor's younger sister is acting like that rapid
plus, seeing Jasmine's strange behavior was also amusing.
when Jasmine stopped struggling, Grace let go her hands thinking that the younger lady had calmed down. instead of a peaceful dialogue, the crazy woman decided to spit on Grace's face. literally.
grace got so mad, she slapped jasmine with so much force that the younger lady staggered backwards and fell.
with both curiosity and amusement gone, she called security to drag the crazy bitch out of her office immediately.
Grace was so angry for the rest of the day and she might have carried her anger on her employees.

meanwhile, in another office setting.
Lucas barged into his best friend's officer panicking.
"I messed up, I messed up badly"
"you have been ignoring me ever since your meeting with Jasmine, I started to think that we were no longer friends" Ethan joked
"am not joking Eth, I messed up real bad"
"what happened?"
Ethan was starting to get worried. what could Lucas have done to make him panic like this.
" I may have told Jasmine I can't marry her because I'm in love with Grace"
Ethan suddenly started laughing.
"I knew it, I knew you have feelings for Grace. I just never confirmed it. I mean. all the staring and how your palm gets really really reeeally sweaty when she's around gave you away".
"you are missing the point. Jasmine got so mad, she broke at least half of the furniture in the restaurant. I'm worried she might do something to Grace"
"it still surprise me how much of a chicken you become when are involved" Ethan scoffed. it is times like this that made Lucas wish he could strangle his best friend. he is suffering from a major crisis but his friend is too busy making snide remarks than giving useful advice.
"Ethan."
"oh please, what can Jasmine possibly do to Grace? she is so mean and scary. I'm pretty sure she can handle Jasmine's antics."
"what if she finds out that I like her?"
"maybe its for the best"
