Her face twitched in pain as she forced herself to speak, "Let… Go…"

His smile twisted, "Why would I let you go? How can we find the Lapis Village without you?!"

Ryu's eyes flashed in excitement as he heard this.

Before he could rush forward, he caught sight of a sudden blur out of the corner of his eye. Suddenly, a sword was stabbed through the man's stomach who held the woman.

The stabbed man slowly turned to see predatory eyes before his sight turned black.

The woman shrieked before making eye contact with the predator in question.

Panzram slid his sword out and promptly attacked the other men. They scrambled to pull out their swords to fight back, but Panzram was faster. He managed to take out two more men before they could ever hope to block him.
