Focus On… II 28B

=In the back seat of the car, on her way back from her first lesson, after talking to her mom, Peggy was deep in thought. The idea of doing something on her own. It wasn’t until her mother said Tanner should go with her that she realized that she could go by herself and it was instantly the best idea ever! When the only options her mother has given are to go with Tanner or go with him and Trip, strangely, going with Tanner felt like the better option. And she hates that. He wouldn’t want to, he’d whine the whole way there and make her feel bad for it, thereby ruining what could have been fun.

And as for option number two, well, it melded with one because Tanner won’t go without Trip. And since Trip already thinks something is wrong and since she’s made the decision to leave him out of her thoughts and dreams and everything in between, this wouldn’t help. It would be so easy for her to give in if he asked her what’s wrong and she didn’t want that.
