Focus On… II 28C

It was nearly four when Raina turned off the tv and her and Sawyer had to wake the two best friends who had unapologetically fallen asleep an hour ago and sent them to their rooms. Tom didn’t like being woken up. After a hit in the head from Sawyer, he was wide awake, grumpy and strangely willing to go to his room without a fuss. Their night of horror movies had ended and everyone went to their rooms.

Except Sawyer. Between writing and watching, he had been thinking about the girl who was a seat away from him. It was like high school all over again, except things were different this time. He wasn’t hating that he had somehow fallen for the one girl he never expected he would. This time, it wasn’t about that. It was about who they were to each other before that.
