When she saw her mother’s sleeping face, her mind calmed. The peace was back, her heart no longer cried but it sobbed. That she can handle. So she knocked. And here she is. Now by her mother, still in need of an answer, a remedy for all this chaos in her over one stupid kid that she’s in love with. She needed an answer. Desperately. But calmly. She tried to look calm. She didn’t know she looked far from it. “How do you get over someone?”

Oh no! The exact same question. She started to talk and almost mentioned Travis. She had to sound like her normal self. Free of worry for her daughter. Does this have something to do with- no. It’s probably just curiosity. “Umm. It depends actually.”

Her already wide eyes grew a bit wider with anticipation.
