About To… II 34C

She got to her house, to the door. All she wanted was to be free from the pain seeing him with everyone else caused and got worse. She opened it in seconds and ran in. Straight to her room, fighting back the urge to scream terribly loud and for as long as her lungs would let her. Up to her room she went, slammed the door behind her, dumped her bag on the floor and out it all came. A scream so violent, it hurt her throat, draining the strength she’d gathered since the bathroom and sending her to her knees, her arms crossed over her chest, her hands tight fists and her eyes flooding with more tears. When there was no air left in her, she sucked in a deep breath and started wailing. She didn’t know when she passed out.

“Peggy.” She woke up to the sound of a familiar voice.

“Peggy. Why is she on the floor?” A whispering Jenny.

“You’re asking me?” A whispering Aida.

“I don’t like this.”
