Tom knocked on Sawyer’s door and opened it when he answered. “What’s up?” Sawyer asked from his reading table, dropping his pen on an open book Tom was certain was the book. What can he be writing about in there? He’s still in book two and he can’t wait to get to ten. But skipping means he would miss somethings. And Peggy’s view of Tate/Trip changing is not something he wants to miss.
Clearer than any other so far, he remembered Sawyer asking questions along the lines of Peggy no longer liking Tate and Raina agreeing and he can see it happening. But he didn’t really take her seriously in her love for Tate but Sawyer sure did. The feelings in it reached him and made him feel bad for her. It’ll definitely hurt if the guy she likes hops from girl to girl. Is this how Misty feels? He’s only reading it and he doesn’t like the feeling it brings out in him. A damn good one Sawyer. The turmoil of giving up or keeping up… Why did he come here again?
