As an innocent white lotus, Shisui explained Kotoamatsukami in detail to Hiruzen.
Hachiro and Hiashi had arrived at a residence he owned outside of the Sarutobi clan compound.
That said, the Sarutobi clan was less than half a mile away.
"Hey, are you certain? This doesn't seem like a good place to hide a scroll full of forbidden jutsu."
Hachiro raised his eyebrows at the plaque, showing which clan the house belonged to.
Who thought it was a good idea to throw one of Konoha's most precious possessions into an unguarded house?
Hiashi elaborated,
"Three years ago, after Orochimaru defected, because the Hokage was worried the hidden entrance in his office had been leaked. He wrote out a copy before dividing it into smaller scrolls. Officially, he handed the original scroll over to the Anbu."
"Most clan leaders are aware that the head captain of the Anbu is his son. I sent a few of my clan members to investigate some of Hiruzen's dirty deeds and this was reported a while back."
Well... Seems like something Hiruzen would do...
Hachiro closed his eyes and channelled his observation Haki trying to perceive every little detail of the mansion in front of him. He scanned the Sarutobi clan briefly as well.
Ten seconds later, he opened his eyes and said,
"There is a woman inside. She's talking to herself."
"Uhh..."
Hearing about the woman he was taken aback for a moment before saying,
"Oh, that should the Third Hokage's daughter-in-law, Sarutobi Akako."
"Daughter-in-law? Asuma's not married... Oh, wait."
Hachiro remembered that Hiruzen had two children, they were probably Konohamaru's parents.
"No, I meant the wife of his eldest son Sarutobi Shinnosuke."
Hiashi clarified.
In the anime, Shinnosuke has absolutely no sense of existence at all. He would have probably forgot about him if not for the chat he had with Orochimaru.
"Are we going to wait until she leaves to steal the scroll?"
Hiashi asked,
"Nope."
Hachiro said paying more attention to the mansion.
They were ninja. They trained everyday to take the lives of others.
No matter how you sugar-coated it, it was the truth.
Although Akako was a captain of an Anbu squad. She only really had the strength of a special Jonin.
She wasn't even in her peak form, she had no chance of surviving an ambush from a Jonin.
She likely wouldn't even get to see her killers face before her death.
"How about you take revenge?"
Hachiro asked, smiling slightly.
"Remember what Hiruzen did to your new born child."
Hiashi's white byakugan flashed red as he remembered what happened four years ago.
The memory of Hiruzen saying "Hiashi, Konoha will remember the Hyuga clan's sacrifice." came to mind and ripped his reason to pieces.
That wasn't just someone from the Hyuga clan.
That was a newborn.
A child that was sacrificed for his grandiose illusion of this so called 'peace'!
That was his child that was sacrificed for someone else's whims and he did nothing to stop it.
The anger that was surging through his mind caused him to forget everything else.
…
…
"Shinnosuke has been busy lately, trying to inherit the Hokage position must not be easy..."
In one of Hiruzen's many residences, Akako sat on a japanese tatami mat.
But then, a voice sounded out. It was familiar and cold.
"Mrs. Sarutobi, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that the position of Hokage is not hereditary."
Akako turned her head in surprise to see two men standing on the other side of the room.
The one speaking to her was the head of the Hyuga clan, Hiashi Hyuga.
"Hiashi, what are you...
She was stunned.
Hachiro glanced at Hiashi and said,
"I'm going to fetch the scroll of Sealing, you deal with this woman. Make sure you don't make too much noise."
After finishing his piece, his thoughts were a little weird.
He cast a glance at Akako and evaluated her appearance.
Hmm... a 8 out of 10.
His sense of beauty had been messed with by Samui and Mei. His standards were quite high.
Akako was an Anbu captain and knew who he was at a glance.
Not that the forehead protecter screaming his affiliations out for all to see, wasn't obvious enough.
She understand what was going on almost immediately,
"Patriarch Hiashi, what are you doing?! He's the enemy who kidnapped his daughter!"
She pointed at Hachiro and shouted,
"He was only able to kidnap my daughter because of that damned Hokage!"
Hiashi's face was twisted in anger and grief that had finally been released after five years.
"Stop shouting so loudly."
Hachiro said and frowned at his outburst of rage.
"Akako, What's wrong!.."
A man wearing an Anbu uniform dashed into the courtyard.
He was the current head captain of the Anbu, Shinnosuke Sarutobi.
As soon as Hiashi saw the him, his heart started beating furiously,
beneath Shinnosuke's feet a large amount of iron sand gathered.
The iron sand split into three portions, two of them grabbing onto his feet stopping him from moving and the last becoming a blade that slit his throat.
"Cough ugh—"
Blood gushed out from his throat as he panicked and tried to plug the wound with his hands.
"Shinnosuke!!!"
Akako Sarutobi yelled in fright.
Hiashi was shocked seeing how easily the current head captain of the Anbu died.
Although he wasn't the strongest in Konoha's history, he was far from weak enough to die in a single blow.
"You deal with it."
After patting Hiashi on the shoulder, Hachiro went upstairs to grab the scroll of sealing.
Hiashi recovered from his shock before realising he would have to follow through either way.
He had already revealed himself to Akako and could easily be branded as a traitor, the Hyuga clan would also be affected by his actions then.
"Please, let me go!"
Akako hugged her knees and started bawling.
Hiashi felt his anger regain its footing and looked at her.
"Let you go? Thanks to your cursed clan I lost my child! I might never see her again! All thanks to you..."
After saying his part, he executed the gentle fist to kill her painlessly.
