CHAPTER 61: No Time To Die

Heriga had just teleported from the topmost floor of the mage tower in white city to one of the balconies of the noble houses in the inner city still dressed in a completely black garb, with half of his face still covered.

"It's done," he said the moment he appeared on the high levelled balcony on the second floor of the house, with a man dressed in gold garments sitting on a chair inside, having left the balcony doors wide open, 

"Yes. I can hear the clanging of the bells and feel their apprehension all the way from over here," the man replied, still with his back turned to Heriga who continued kneeling, not daring to get up unless he was told to.

"What about the scapegoat?" The obviously noble and high-ranking man asked with a look of disgust on his face even though Heriga couldn't see it.
