Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

I'm glad you're here," Xeronba said the moment he heard Humus' voice as he continued speaking without turning around to look back and visibly confirm that it was him.

"You can also watch as my students thoroughly defeat your students too," he boasted since Light Academy, according to their performance in the previous years were just slightly better than Green Academy, with White Academy being the ones he had to look out for.

Before Humus could even get a word in, the person who was seated right beside Humus, the unofficial Headmaster of White Academy, Grafus Kelina, spoke,

"If I didn't know better I'll think you were already looking down on us, with you already seeing yourself as the overall winner of this competition," Grafus said with a yawn, stretching as he made it known that he had dozed right through the first two matches, just like Humus who had also not being around or considered the matches to be that important.
