Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

Struggling free from Green who did his best to hold on to him, while he continued to remain completely in the dark about what was going on. He watched their Principal, Humus Denardin begin to kill the monsters in the lobby one after another alongside all his friends while wondering why they weren't going over to happily meet him.

"What's going on?" Ashen asked looking from Green's face to Natal and Jamon who also stood solidly in their spots without making a move forward. Ashen would have thought that Natal considering Anared's condition would have done better but surprisingly he also stood quietly beside Green,

"Can someone explain to me why we aren't going over to meet our principal? Healing Anared shouldn't even be difficult for him," Ashen said as he continued to peep from the staircase they were all in, while watching Humus dispose of the monsters in the lobby, while making his way to the staircase.
