Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

<p>Two days wasn't a very long time, with Ashen and Green still resting and class wasn't yet compulsory for them to attend. Green turned back into a human and did nothing but eat in the cafeteria, while Ashen along with Anared and Natal watched how Green with such a small statue could continue to eat food that looked twice his size.</p>

<p>Morning of the said day came as Green and Ashen, walked out of their room. They were still walking past Ana's room and through the corridor that led to the stairs when they felt and heard her door swing open, with Ana walking out of her room in such a way that instantly got on Green's nerves who wrapped his arm around Ashen's own the moment he saw her continue to walk towards them after Ashen stopped to wait for her.</p>
