Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

Ashen and Green walked steadily towards the huge door that was in the back of the lobby of the adventurer's guild, until they stood in front of the door keeper, who had a very huge sword behind him and was even bigger than the one Ashen had met the last time he was there.

"You're not Farel," Ashen stated the moment he got in front of the door that led to the dungeons below, looking up at the ten-foot giant that stood in his way without any trace of a smile on his face.

"Obviously. My name is Deran," the huge man with a huge sword strapped to his back replied and Green could tell that he wasn't big and tall for nothing, considering that with all that happened in Whitefield the door keeper wouldn't have been unnecessarily changed, if it wasn't for the better.
