Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

In the blink of an eye, all the Grandmasters were gone and Ashen's body lay on the ground as the ice around his body slowly began melting off, but too slowly for him to be able to jump on his feet and attempt to do anything again to stop them. Especially since, he could feel the extreme pain coursing through his body, considering the fact that most of his bones broke the moment his body made contact with the ground.

From where he was lying the moment he watched them take Green away with them and disappear, Ashen instantly saw no reason to struggle free from the ice he was still encased in, regardless of how big it was,

"I should die…" He moaned to himself, closing his eyes as he slowly began to walk in pain knowing that about ten feet away from where he was, two of his friends were dead and he had watched it happen, while Green had been taken away.
