Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.

A Gift of Fire

A week passed, with Ashen remaining unconscious, as his arm had finally grown back while Anared's burial was done. His parents were paid a huge amount of money by the academy for damages which they readily accepted amidst tears.

Natal was also in the same ward where Ashen was, unconscious as his legs were also being slowly grown little by little.

Finally, Ashen woke up, slowly opening his eyes to see the white ceiling above him as his eyes struggled to get used to the sudden brightness of the room around him,

He was still looking around in confusion when he spotted Natal's body on the bed next to him,

Without thinking, he jerked up, completely ignoring the blazing sounds that began ringing around his bed the moment he tried to get down and move closer to where Natal was to check the condition of his body.
